As long as the developer doesn't finally stop aligning his game strictly with votings, but maybe finally finishes developing it, we will hardly see anything new. It would make much more sense to finally finish all routes and story contents. Side content according to the wishes of the fans always have time later.

He's not gonna do that though and you'll have to rely on Patrons to vote for random stuff nobody wants. And even if he did stop the votings, you still got 3 routes in the pipeline he'll need to finish before starting to do what he wants, and that'll take ~2 years at best
"All routes" will be done eventually, people only vote for the order DC makes them. "Story content" is already mostly done, what we got left is the prom night (and dating to some extent), which will only happen once all the routes are done (mostly the remaining schoolgirls and possibly the teachers' remake) and all of that will take ~4+ years. Once again, even if DC stops the votings, you got at least 4-5 years of stuff already planned/required for the "game's ending"

I didn't say he should stop the voting. I was just saying he should stop focusing on it too severely. There is still a lot of content that is still missing: everything about school, grades and, of course, the prom night. That should be the focus first. More side content later, no one has anything against that. It's just a lot easier to add something once the basic framework is in place. The less it has to be bent later

Earlier, when someone asked how much they were paid each month to defend the game, I really wanted to ask how much they were paid to be a jerk and be negative about everything. But I though better about it, thinking it would be in bad taste. Apparently, there is no such thing here. At ease. Carry on.

The first problem with that is the futility of it. DC doesn't come here. No one involved in the development of the game does. It can't possibly help; no one benefits from it. It's like that line from Asshole: "I walk around in the summertime saying 'how about this heat?'" No one can do anything to make it cooler outside, so why annoy everyone by complaining about an unsolvable problem?
Beyond the fact that it serves no purpose, negativity brings everyone down. I'm sure we all know someone who does nothing but complain. It's exhausting to be around such people, isn't it? It ruins your mood. There's a reason why we call such people "toxic". Such people are literally harmful to your health.
Finally, most of the criticism isn't even made in good faith. People who are well aware that there was an update on October 31 come in and talk about how it's been years since the last update in order to rile everyone up and start an argument. This is called "trolling". If you're not Siskel or Ebert, you're probably not good at criticizing things. The people who have good intentions are indistinguishable from trolls.
As a complaint forum, there's nothing but negativity and fighting. You have to have the serenity to accept the things that you can't change. If you don't have anything good to say, do us all a favor and keep it to yourself.
At no point in your incoherent ramble were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought and everyone here is now dumber for having read this.

(I think I'm a bit late)From the looks of it, Based on the Website, DC is trying to add another Location(Lighthouse). Not sure how if that would relevant to the story.

That location was announced back in 2021 and I doubt it'll add something to the story.
