Nah, they have some kind of a law against it xdd. A lot of people asked them how to donate and they always refuse. Actually the guy that made violated princess was working on vh initialy, but then he got greedy and wanted to cash out, but other guys refused and kicked him out lol.I mean by the strictest definition STS is also 'non-commercial' since every dime DC gets are donations. He isn't selling the game after all. So let's say the VH remake people start accepting donations to help them support to make said remake, but the game will still be free, then they wouldn't really be any different.
So yeah the difference is big between them and DC. One wants to milk to infinity having a patreon page and other donation sites, and vh devs don't. Still both are having abysmal production speed that's for sure.
