I mean people burn out and there's also technical stuff that may prevent working on this project forever. For those that remember "free cities" the people continuing it were very limited by the twine engine and had to fork it and tinker with it to optimize it for their project. I don't know shit about the new code for SS but even 10 years in the future seems unlikely to me. Totally open to be proven wrong tho.
I will give him credit in that I don't think most people have ever tried an actual big creative project before, the sort of thing that (at best case) would take months, rather than a few hours or a weekend. Absolutely fucking suuuuuuuuuuuuucks from the moment you run out of that initial steam and properly self managing is a skill all by itself.
Especially when it's your first big programming project and you fall into every single pitfall everyone else does.
We'd all have been happier if he hadn't made it one gigantic game from the start, did the sort of separate chapter thing some other VNs do, incrementally growing his skills and chopping the thing into more manageable pieces. But of course, you need enough experience to know you need to do that to begin with, which is exactly why there's so few completed quality games on this site made by amateur developers.

This game brings in soooo much money, he easily could have hired a full time developer and focused only on the art. But he didn't, and for years has half-assed everything.

AI "Art" still looks as Shitty as always. It's garbage.
The normal Art in this Game is from a Human so it's still better than Ai "Art". Ai "Art" is just souless and ugly.

Can someone please inform the developer that there are no natural darkened human intimate parts and retracted testicles; the testicles must be loose and the penis must match the same color as the individual's skin; the protagonist's penis indicates that he has significant damage to the hip, spine and clots that darken the armpits and intimate parts.
