Incest patch fucks up the game

How i solved: removed the patch from the folder and start a new game, after unlock the school put the patch in folder again. Worked here.

I would ban people for asking such questions — maybe turn it into a sweepstakes, like you get the prize by being the 200th dummy to ask the same question.

I would recommend removing the patch, play until you unlock the school (after talking to Erik at the beginning), save and close, put the patch back in and you should be good to go!

What is s dex for?

I think Dex has something to do with the sister (aka Jenny) later on in her story path. I haven't played much outside of the family story line so I cannot say if the skill is used for anything else.

Remove the patch, start a new game and play up until you talk to Erik and unlock the school, save, close the game, place the patch in, and viola! you should be good to go.
