So, I was trying to mess with the coding, just to see what I could change, but when I decompile the pyc's in the saga folder, edit it, and compile it again, the game doesn't read it. It also doesn't read it if I leave the py file in the folder either, so I was trying to affect the variables in the rpy files in the src folder. it looks like some stuff may be coded behind the scenes to have other characters in some locations, so I wanted to try to unlock the Pizzaria to see if Maria was coded there or not.
Does anyone the format for the code to unlock different locations in the rpy files? The closest I can see is when it unlocks Mia's house and the school after talking with erik or unlocking the rest of he location after french, bu I can't figure out who to write the variable I want to change.

I do realize that; if I was writing it for them it would be less rude.
It is, in fact, more of a reflection - I was trying to understand why I'm so irritated by them, formulated it for myself and posted it here in case someone was having the same question.

Let's face it, this thread is becoming more of a therapy group anyway )

It's been like that for a while, some discussions, some asking for the incest patch over and over, but mostly venting.

As for your first post, there's a lot of things that could be changed if people just stopped paying for it no matter how bad it gets. Going without a specific porn game is just a lot easier than going without bread for weeks, like that other guy mentioned.

Thread needs to be closed. Not like there's going to be any discussion to be had when the next updates (whenever) are just going to be the same shit with different sprinkles on it. Fact is, thread won't see any form of new conversations until after the content has caught up (if ever), so might as well put up the chairs, turn off the light and close the place down.

Closing the thread won't make people feel better about it or stop any of the bitching. It'll just spread it from one designated area into like 37 somewhat related threads.
Not a great plan imo.

You can close this thread. There's a button of 'ignore thread' up in the page. You can hit it and forget about this thread forever. But don't try to ruin the fun for others. Bitching about this 'game' is right now funnier than playing it. :LOL::ROFLMAO:

Threads have been closed for less around these parts. I don't see why this one's not, tbh, especially when there's far more draconian measures taken in other threads by mods. Like perma thread bans. That there hasn't been any bans is interesting, considering we're all breaking thread rules by even discussing DCs whole development process. We're actually just meant to talk about the game, and only the game, in here. Not about DC, his posse, his children and the list goes on.

Threads or game threads?
Cause locking some bullshit discussion in off-topic is a bit different than closing the thread of one of the most popular games around here.

I suspect mods will let this go on for a bit longer and then maybe lock it down temporarily to do a quick clean-up of some of the worst offenders, if at all. It has died down quite a bit but trying to moderate this monstrosity even just a few days ago would've taken much more effort than it's worth.
