The best part is how every single change/update to the Debbie route is painstakingly separated into a series of like, 10 different entries. Same for other stuff like fixed to save system, etc. Talk about a blatant "padding my resume" vibe.

You shouldn't attribute to maliciousness that which can easily be attributed to incompetence. People make mistakes a lot, especially in this space. The dev severely underestimated the amount of time this would take and is now in the midst of a sunken cost spillover.

They currently have a manpower of 10 peeps and decided to update the engine and you know the rest of the story.
1 Artist who is hand drawing the pictures etc. 1 Story and dialogue person, 4 people for posing, 1 Music and SFX Artist, 1 person for website and Disccord, 1 wife of the CEO, 1 coder. Splendid idea and timing for a engine upgrade/update with 1. This thing will never get finished.

They make 6 figures to develop a game that hasn't had real progress in 4+ years.
There got be something against stringing sponsors/supporters along to milk them a long as possible. Like if it was only a year or two sure. But This is going on near half a decade with almost no progress. Especially when you are talking near a quarter a million a year.

This game has been in production since I used to tie onions to my belt, which was the style at the time, and play Summertime Saga on my slate tablet. Stick figures with boobs, that's all it was back then, and it was good enough for us. And dirty games only cost a nickel, which had titties on 'em. Give me five boobies for a quarter, we used to say...

As neat as it is for the "3d" dining room scene in the game, I find it hilarious that they're just facing a wall. No furniture or anything. He didn't want to draw a dinner mat on the table or a storage cabinet. I'd say the only story he'd finish for this year is just debbie and dianne and nothing else which is so sad that it becomes funny again. I also noticed that the minigames and stats feature are still there as if that means anything.
