It's the sunk cost fallacy and too many people fail to see TV shows, movies and games as products. They become too emotionally attached.
When a company adopts anti-consumer practices, Sony for instance, I stop supporting them. Yes I may want to buy things but giving them money despite what they do would show a lack of spine, selling myself out for an entertainment product.
All I did was after from school and going home for the debbie on the phone event, I went to diane for a little intro. She then ask me to get a shovel and after taking one from home, I took some time from cleaning her garden. Then went to eve's rap battle and then went home.
Or you could always go home and press sleep right away.
The game is a hella buggy really. The need to fix it asap.

Doesn't really seem practical at all, how many times has stuff been reworked in this game already? Makes way more sense to put endgame content at the end when everything else is finalized.Right now ? nothing. But see it as the developper of this BETA GAME thought about it. Better for them to implement it as the developpment goes than after all the shit has been coded. Simple, practical logic.
I finished this release with all scenes and no bugs, so i'm quite surprised to see all the negativity here, but idk maybe i'm lucky, maybe i'm the only one that actually reads the update notes
In a year or two watch him have to rework half this stuff and wonder why adding it now was worthwhile.

I waited patiently for all this time, many months, thinking MAYBE we'll get a lot of new content about the sister, a titfuck, some lewd rubbing while she's drying off from the shower making the MC cum in his pants (pretty hilarious if you ask me), a pool topless sun oil "massage", an handjob while having dinner,some good old hate sex, eventually going to a more lovey dovey ending where she lets us sleep\fuck in her bed and some hold hands sex as climax. Diane's stuff was the same as well, as the first scene of her getting scared of a shoelace in sexy underwear was a nice touch, but that "taboo" feel between Aunt Diane and MC was lost when it focused more on a pointless cow cosplay, when should have had more scenes of fucking the aunt around her house, ending with mating press her in the final scene to impregnate her (that's what she wanted, isn't it?) then move in MC's house, starting some lesbian foreplay to climax with the Mom and Aunt threesome.
This didn't even happen, but instead had more focus on a dumb "cow girl" and milking roleplay.
And 0.18 was the update i wanted the most, i waited long time for the resolution of the sister storyline, and it doesn't even go anywhere, and her "love you" still is a dead end, the sister's storyline has been fucked up, she's still a bitch and that's not really good writing. It was since 0.16 since i stopped playing SS (since originally was supposed to be the sister's update before Patreon's incest meltdown) and i can say without a doubt that the current update, and the quantity of scenes per length of update is not enough, considering also that the new "art" wasn't even implemented, so why it took so long?
There should have been at least 10 new scenes considering Roxxy's update as example, but it was like Diane's update, 2 new scenes and a couple of old ones removed, so it's as if there was no real update as the scenes number remains the same.

I think they have disassociated stat progress with quest progression in attempt to cut down on bugs.

If you stick to watching the Jenny hints, you can avoid most of the other content and just go through the Jenny quests. Mostly. There seemed to be more hammering on the space bar than usual.

i think the key difference between the roxxy update and the jenny update and why the former is more liked is because of character development. roxxy is a bitch at first but she warms up to you falls in love with you. her personality changes a lot during the story. jenny meanwhile starts of as a cunt and at the end she's still a cunt that has sex with you. i don't think every character should have the same arc, if every girl in SS starts of hating you and then falls in love with you that would be boring. but i hope at least for the eve update DC has some fresh ideas for the story and for eve as a character.
Going into tree house game breaking bug no fix I'll wait on fixes this is by far the worse update yet shame and it took forever. This seems like heavy milking the Patreon's dropped my sub this update

True. I think it's both the patreons and the devs fault why the game releases almost useless updates time to time. The main story should have been progressed and then the other characters affected by it gets included. Other games like a mother's love and back to the cabin seems better for me than this update.

I really wish they do away with the skill system at some point... It's just completely redundant and boring. At the VERY LEAST in this update they made it so that skill checks are always passed... Up until recently you still had to train for everything. It used to require like max charisma to get past the stupid shower scene with Roxy and her friends at school... That was terrible. You could race through the Roxy plot without a single charisma point, but to get through that scene you needed to spend god knows how many nights doing the stupid rap battle minigame, which was boring enough WITH the "skip minigame" option...
Not to mention that UNTIL YOU GRINDED ENOUGH, every single time you entered the school you'd get the "I stink I need a shower" cutscene.
