It's certainly possible to some degree. Next to that they seemed to have some problems with actually writing the last detailed dialogs/story parts, which kind of makes sense, given that they'll have to rewrite quite a bit while keeping the story for 0.20.5 in mind and while accommodating, italians, "russians", etc. And DC got his third child, too, of course.
But yeah, like in Diane's case, I'm prepared to not be blown away, yet, I'm looking forward to it.

I can only attest my own experience: I could load my 0.19.0 save into 0.19.5 without problems or bugs.

I understand obviously that the incest is optional through a patch. However, is incest what was intended by the devs for the game and they couldn't due to Patreon, or is the patch just fan made therefore not canonical? I know "its just a porn game, it doesn't matter." But i just want to know for sure which way was intended by the devs. (I always played without the patch)

The game had incest until verion 0.14.52. when patreon banned it and it may be back once the game is done. DC really wasn't happy that he had to remove all those connections.
PS: By the way, DC is just deciding on picarto how Ronda's mom could look. Looks like she's going to be Angela-Bassett-like.

Live report from DC's stream : No news for next update release, but they are currently chosing who will serve as a model for Rhonda's mom. Contestants were : Diamond Jackson, Beyonce, Angela Basset, Halle Berry, Michelle Obama and a few others. In the end, seems Angela Basset won.

I guess Debbie will get a graphical (animation) refresh at some point, but not anytime soon since the story seems quite complete (just a guess however).
What step by step are you talking about? The official walkthrough will give a good guidance. You could also install my mod (see signature) which implements the until-now-missing phone hint system for Debbie (and Ms. Dewitt, Ms. Ross, Cpt. Terry and Daisy).

Yeah, it's not like I'm unhappy about it and it's good that they don't seem to compromise on the writing part. In the end it's just a hunch that the update may simply be a little smaller than one would expect given the time that has passed. But we'll see, I'd be happy to be wrong and i'll certainly wait until 20.5 has dropped to judge the whole thing.

If you want to count it as part of her story, it's quite likely that all those parts which involve her and the mafia will be renewed this and next update. But for a scene rework and everything else we'll have to wait until she joins the polls again and wins them. But it's 100% planned at some point.

Yes that's the official walkthrough. Wrt/ each story arc (girl) it's a good idea to follow it literally. But you should also be able to mix the arcs, i.e. play different girls simultanously. They don't recommend it but I never had a problem with that.
Just follow the advice to save each (ingame) day, while on the main city map, and not to use rollback too often (however I never had problems with rollback using my mod, which restricts it to not being able to skip status, location and time changes).

Is there a console command I can use to change Eve's gender? I didn't know it was an option until well after the choice was given.

I hope so. The Mom is often the top prize, but she seemed rather chunky and plain to me. I just hope he doesn't give her the inverted nipples he's been trending towards.
