At me Cristal at this time is free again and the fight in the jail haves no sense animore.

Who says Crystal isn't a repeat offender? Doesn't the scene imply that they are holding a drunk person? Since she's constantly seen drinking it seems plausible that she was picked up for public drunkenness. Or maybe violating an open container law.

As far as we know it'll be done after 0.20.8. So no, it's not finished at the moment.

It's a definite yes. Certainly if the PC and Android versions of the game are the same. Ren'py is cross-platform compatible to itself.

I really like this game but I am not going to play through it again to reach the point I was at. Now the old saves don't work. Is there a way to be alerted to when a game has been completed? That I would be interested in.

Saves work for (most) people. And this game won't be completed for at least 4 years, you got time

That makes perfect sense now. I remember going through that sequence. I've run into that instance. The logic of the jail can also be weird depending upon when Larry gets arrested.

I really like this game but I am not going to play through it again to reach the point I was at. Now the old saves don't work. Is there a way to be alerted to when a game has been completed? That I would be interested in.

My recommendation would be to either wait till the v0.20.8 comes out which will include the final part of the main story and play that one.
Than again you can just wait till couple of the versions later where not only the main story but also couple of the other characters have their content added.
I personally do not mind replaying the game since at almost every new updated there is something new added to already existing content other than the main stuff related to specific version.
Its your choice really.

Yay, DC just said that he wants to include 6 or 7 additional animations into the widescreen tech update, like for example a new Diane scene. So I guess there's hope for Grace, Eve, etc.

Mine worked fine.

When you load the updated game, your saves will be shaded. When you click to load a specific save, you'll get an error message that the save is from an older version of the game, and stuff might not work. Just continue clicking through the errors (I think there are two total, but don't hold me to that) until the save loads. Then immediately re-save the game and overwrite your old save, with whatever text you use to describe it, the save thumbnail will show like normal, and you'll be good to go.

At this point with new characters getting introduced per update im gonna say its a cool 7-8 years till completion and thats a maybe, dc has made a point to flesh out even side characters to side characters
