The best way I found to combat most disappointment on this site for me personally is that I only play the updates in multiples of 5/10 depending on how the update the game, by 5/.5 in a new game it's past the tutorial, and playing once every couple update way by the time I see that game again there alot of new shit for example last time I played summer time saga was 15 update so theres more stuff for me to do then definitely the last time I played lol

Holy shit, I completely forgot about the whole idea of the prom, or that this game was supposed to take place over one summer and as such would have a day limit. Thinking about it now it's hilarious and never going to actually happen.
fair but id have liked atleast the option too but mabey im getting a little spoiled there is so much for only a 02.208 update i dont care how long it takes every update gives me some hours of usually a fun story
As far as I'm aware they never planned on having a day limit, it's more of a myth. But yeah, the game is probably about 50 to 60% done right now, so there's lots of good stuff left.

I tend to disagree. You count new content as h-scenes. But frankly, those are small potatoes compared to all backgrounds, emotions, animations etc that drive the story.
In terms of what comes immediately to mind, you're probably already familiar with Seeds of Chaos, which runs on a fairly strict bimonthly update cadence and is coming up to completion but YMMV with some of the fetishes as it aims to cater to more or less everything (including gay, ntr, preg, etc., although literally everything is optional), but more particularly projects like Rise of the White Flower, which is developed on literally no more than 1% of SS's budget, has probably put out a similar amount of smut in the same period since its 1.0 and in terms of aesthetics is comparable to WaL!.
I might be an idiot with really bad reading comprehension, but it's super easy to misinterpret valid criticisms, like yours, and entitlement. I feel like for every person that has legitimate gripes there are people that are either jumping on the bandwagon or, like you said, feel entitled. There's a graph that shows release dates for each update and it's pretty consistent, maybe my expectations are a bit lower when it comes to work ethic and lewd games or whatever you wanna call them. Personally more worried about the quality of the content rather than the content creator.
