I am honestly absolutely surprised that this game isn't finished yet at this point (and that this is not the only one). I'm quite new to the adult game patreon support scene and I almost thought that most of these devs earning $10-50k every month on patreon has actual finished stuff with the amount of money they are getting. I seriously thought that the Yandere game was outrageous... until I found F95.

Thanks to F95 for enlightening me on a lot of things and now I'm extra carefully where I put my money. I'm all for supporting small devs for 1-2 years to start them up, but 6 years or more and get a "tech update"...

Yeah, I found F95 while I was still a patreon for this and a few other games, then saw the progression made by people who get paid better than some AAA game devs and just stopped. I still want to see the end of this game. But hope is wanning.

Many AAA games have been made in the same amount of time as this "tech update" is currently taking. I admit i don't know nothing about programing but it seems bit odd that it takes this long. I mean he is making enough to employ people full time.

No. They haven't. The average AAA game takes 3-5 years (remember, Cyberpunk 2077 took over 8 and it was a fucking mess on release) and hundreds of staff, as well as hundreds of millions of dollars to produce. While the tech update has taken much longer than expected - there is no need for hyperbole and made up information to support that fact.

Everything else in your comment makes sense.

Average AAA hourly wage is $50-$60 USD (based upon $100k-$120k annual salary). While you may be correct that a couple of the people on staff might get paid that much (DC being one) - just like the person above, there's no need to exaggerate or use false assumptions to make the case that this tech update has taken a long time, longer than anyone expected.

I mean you can continue making excuses but it doesn't change the fact that this "simple" tech update is just taking too long.

you guys are wasting your breath, this thread is moderated and soon all your posts will get cleaned by jannies for reasons you may suspect. Afterwards, some other users will start their shifts and start praising the game and circle will be complete.

As for the "tech update", even if it came out tomorrow I would not change my mind. Followed this game very early on and already noticed it was a scam roughly 4 years ago. I think the confirmation was when the dev decided to redraw the game, he also kicked out several coders, in retrospect, I think they were honest lads and simply didn't agree to put up with the malicious intentions. To me it was obvious at that point, and with luck there could stil be my posts in this thread from back then unless they were moderated(back then they werent deleting posts as often). So yeah, even if the update came out tomorrow it is still only after milked millions so yeah. Honestly good for the dev, may this serve as an example that most people are dumber from apes.

Lesson of life if you pay for nothing you get nothing,if you wants to reward someone, do it once or twice until him deliver no more than that or you are spoil him or make him a lazy bastard. This works in real life, I don't thing why it won’t work in patreon.

P/D: When he blackmail you or demand more that is were you known that you are spoiling him.

Hey, I got a question for the old hands here:
Which is the last version, before layered character art was introduced to the game and where can I download that version?
I want to rip the images from it. Layered images from the newest version are too much of a hassle to deal with, and I'd like to see the un-remade characters anyway.

Who was making excuses? I stated quite plainly in my replies in my post that "the tech update has taken much longer than expected" and "this tech update has taken a long time, longer than anyone expected." I agreed with the two people I replied to in that aspect - where I disagreed were the fabricated/hyperboled AAA excuses made for comparison.

You are incorrect about time necessary for bigger games by Indie developers. Larger indie games take 3-5 years - just like AAA games, just smaller budgets and staffs than AAA games (and - usually - smaller games than AAA games). But yes, this Tech Update is taking a long time, longer than anyone expected. You don't need to exaggerate, make up false statements to make the same point.
