that what happens if updates take too long. the last actually "good" one which was eve (or consuela i think) has been how many years ago? STS isn't the pinnacle of porn games like it once was, it still has a lot of content but other devs have been catching up. DC's refusal to change things to make updates go faster/improve the writing/improve the art because he's getting paid anyway and he doesn't work too hard did the rest.
To be honest, the number of long term patrons will be small. Unlike most games, SS has a huge online cloud - even on non porn platforms like facebook, youtube, etc. - and as such DC still seems to gain several thousand patrons a months, while losing an equal number. I'd guess that most people will only pledge for a short time because they played the game for the first time and liked it... sadly patreon doesn't really provide these numbers.
you might be right, many of the most hardcore fans are or were posting in this thread and many of us including me have given up or more or less lost their hype for the project
yea that's real shame that we ain't got much with Judith and she's like the first person in the game to touch your pee pee.
The fact that people are waiting for her storyline since 2016 tells you what a damn joke this game's development has become since years.
My future grandson is going to love the Judith update when it drops.
Honestly, these are as generic as you can get. If you compare these to DC's bar and arcade, you see why AI won't matter for the good games for many years to come.
