I find it partly amusing that since a certain Person-of-Interest left a Very-Important-Position, the game's development sputtered to a halt with minimal "pre-tech" updates. which was also mirrored in-game by said Person-of-Interest's in-game reference being put in jail.
makes me wonder if development (tech update and beyond) will suddenly vastly improve if said Person-of-Interest returns to that Very-Important-Position... and If said in-game reference will also get out of jail, thus possibly continuing the overarching story.

I mean, isn't it the big goal of everyone clamouring for the Abandoned tag that, hopefully, it will disuade people from supporting DC? Which in itself is a big fat lol imo, but I digress. I just think letting the thread, you know, die would serve that purpose much better than to unearth it like that necrophiliac chick from Oblivion does with corpses.
honestly it's more symbolic at this point than anything. it changes nothing; dc will still be successful and the pervs still don't get their game. people just want to vent that they feel "scammed" and i think that's fine.

hey just wanted to let yall know alot of censorship and bans have been occuring across several nsfw platforms, gumroad flat out banned nsfw completely today and artist have 24hrs to sell there stuff before the purge. Pixiv last month got stricter with nsfw guidelines and patreon just this week is getting stricter with there nsfw guidelines do you think this will affect dark cookie? and the game getting removed from the platform or nah?

Given he's the #1 like I said, he makes Patreon lots of money. So nothing will happen to him. You can break a few rules if you're valuable.
he was one of the earliest adopters and caught fire at the right time during the western porn game boom. h games are far more main stream now. the streams also helped him develop a parasocial fanbase and he created a community. he's now too big to fall outside of extreme circumstances.

Ahh i see this will only affect smaller creators well atleast we have this website and kemono to archive everything but if they start moving to other websites like subcribestar i think it will be alot harder to get there stuff

No, DC's not #20. I said the #20-ish adult game on Patreon is no longer there as of today after an apparent review the last few days. So, no, this idea that "top," "top 10", "top 20," whatever get more leeway is not necessarily the case.
Also, DC already had a review back in the day and that's why certain relationships are no longer that way, and other adjustments. It appears DC attempts to keep the game within compliance. Note, he even removed the sleepsex scene back a long time ago as well, avoiding any problems with Patreon's non-con rules.
