It's been explained many, many, many times in this thread. You could scroll back a few pages and skim. You could search for the word abandoned and skim the results (if you haven't set up your search order in your preferences, I would advise you to look at my signature on how to do that first). Or, you could familiarize yourself with the rules on how the flag is assigned.

I check this every 3-4 months or so. Apparently there's been zero movement for basically half a year.
I'm not mad cause I ain't paying for anything, but I just find it wild how there's like 1% movement a month

I love this thread. Also once again. His coder is terrible, if coding is your bottleneck on a simple game like this then your coder is actually incompetent. DC coder I hope you read this. I can't wait for this tech update to be released and its unsurprisingly not remotely worth it.

The fact, that the tech update is a mess has been clear since like 24 ~months or so. So still referring to these 3-4 months just means that people have missed to point to move on a very long time ago.
As to why it would be kinda funny? Simply because it would essentially render all of these discussions about the tag even more ridiculous and futile than they have been anyway.
well, there are people who paid to have bath water from an onlyfans model, at this point in the championship I don't doubt the stupidity and madness of humanity in the slightest.
I think DC might be a bit worried about the abandoned tag as despite this being a pirate site. it is also the home of summertime saga.
This is THE place people go for updates and news and the wallapers for the game. Frankly an abandoned tag here would be a bigger deal than it would be for most other games as frankly THIS is where most of the fan base gathers.

Honestly, if this would be the place to go, then DC would have lost all his patrons 2 years ago. You'll have a hard time finding any positive comments on the last 1000 pages or so, yet his patron numbers are very stable.
It's actually quite the opposite. SS as a game is pretty much independent from F95, simply because it gets so much attention on other social and porn media platforms.
Once you start searching for non anime 2D porn (especially on porn video platforms), there's a very high chance you'll come across SS quickly. That's how people find the game and if they want to download it, they just get it from DC's homepage.

I found Summertimesaga through F95zone. This site serves as Summertimesaga's biggest advertisement. People chose to donate as an appreciation to DC after playing the game(for free downloading it off this site) and liking the game hoping for more promised updates and that he would finish it.

As said, if you search summertime saga on let's say pornhub the first page alone will have ~20 million+ combined views - and unlike this topic on F95, many of these views will be individual people and not the same person visiting 500 to 5000+ times.
If you combine these numbers across these kind of platforms, they simply dwarf F95 by several orders of magnitude.
SS was and to some degree still is all over the internet and F95 is just one source among many. As said, to me that's one of the reasons why DC is still gaining so many new patrons every month to compensate for the ones he's losing. Few people would start a pledge after reading this topic, I think we agree on that.
Why would you register an account on F95 to download the game, when you can just download it without any hassle for free from DC himself?
