The average week of the coder must look like making one line of code and 168 hours of sleeping.
I guess they sacked him.DC has explained a few times how project management was his least favourite part of his old job (supervisor for animation teams in video game studios iirc) and why he refused to "micromanage" -- or simply proactively manage -- the SS team, even before the tech update shambles began. It's a flaw he's never shied away from, or had to be cajoled into admitting
You are correct. I point to the 2017 LewdGamer every once in a while about what DC shared is his viewpoint on the game and progress, completion. He's very direct about his view about project management:DC has explained a few times how project management was his least favourite part of his old job (supervisor for animation teams in video game studios iirc) and why he refused to "micromanage" -- or simply proactively manage -- the SS team, even before the tech update shambles began. Believe it or not, he quit! Something about his side hobby making a load of money, as I recall. Some sort of cartoon sex game?I guess they sacked him.
There's not been any new content since October 2022 and there isn't planned any in the near future. Is there any new content with a red-haired classmate?
"Wait, the tech update has REMOVED content???" nonstop for months. Can't waitThere's optimism from DC today in the stream, at least.

Warm up your keyboards, boys! Soon we'll be able to bitch about lack of update content rather than the lack of updates.

I am still curious if F95 staff will put the update in this thread or keep this thread flagged as abandoned and start a new thread. It all depends upon how they interpret their own rules. I could see arguments for the fourth bullet in 6.1 and the last bullet in 6.2 for either decision:Can't wait
Keeping a Pre-Tech update and making a Post-Tech update sounds like a good idea honestlyI am still curious if F95 staff will put the update in this thread or keep this thread flagged as abandoned and start a new thread. Me? I'd just leave this thread as abandoned - with links to the "old version" of the game (v0.20.16) and start a thread with the "new version" of the game as the tech update rolls out chunk by chunk.
Till im not playing the tech update myself im not believing shit from this bad man. There's optimism from DC today in the stream, at least.

Nah its a good idea honestly imoOf course flower guy wants Darkcookie to have like 3 threads on this site
I understand being a fanboy but HOLY FUCK!
Yeah, I should have clarified that - if they decide to just keep this thread, putting the "new version" in the OP and removing the flag, they would most likely need to keep links to the "old version" in OP, as well. I just think that gets clunky, personally, and is why I think making a separate thread removes a bit of one type of confusion.Nah its a good idea honestly imo
If theres removed content in the new update then i'd rather play the pre-tech if i was a new player
or they could have a link for the pretech update too either idea is fine with me
I'd probably argue the opposite, since the story/gameplay/engine is fundamentally unchanged. A Honda Civic is still a Honda Civic even if you upgrade all the wiring and paint it a new color. The only reason to maintain the old version is this case is because the update we're getting this week isn't content-equivalent; if it was, I imagine all the links would be replaced in the OP like normal and nobody other than archivists would raise too much fuss.I am still curious if F95 staff will put the update in this thread or keep this thread flagged as abandoned and start a new thread. It all depends upon how they interpret their own rules. I could see arguments for the fourth bullet in 6.1 and the last bullet in 6.2 for either decision:

Lol, bad man. That sounded like a ten year old. You alright there? You've been acting a tad bit aggressive these last couple of pages.Till im not playing the tech update myself im not believing shit from this bad man.
Personally, I think they should add a "devolvement hell" tag or dole out the the "on hold' tag a little more liberally for games that don't quite fit the bill. I think that just handing out the abandoned tag as a one-size-fits-all causes more confusion than its worth. I get why they have things the way they are, but I just feel like there's probably a better system for it out there.I am still curious if F95 staff will put the update in this thread or keep this thread flagged as abandoned and start a new thread. Releasing bits and pieces of the same content in chunks is not new contentThere's optimism from DC today in the stream, at least.
