Ok, so the pattern for the new development structure has been established. Release cadence is consistent, release content isn't. Must mean they're working from a central repository and enforcing a commit cut-off close to the end of the month. Remains to be seen if this will truly make development quicker than the v20.16 era, but it should make it functionally easier for the team to squirt out half-releases at a pace regular enough to stop the riots. I foresee a lot of "that's IT!?!?!??! nothingburger update lmao" in this thread future
