This is a real problem, devs get too many subs and they don't want that to end instead of making something new. If I like something, I'll sub for about $30 worth. After that, I'll acquired it by other means.

I apologize to the honorable authors. This is just an assumption based on some observations.
I hope it doesn't apply to the developers of our favorite games.
The following occurred to me: Maybe there's some other scheme at work on Patreon:
Or someone creates a startup and then sells it, along with the account, to another person who continues the project, collecting donations from subscribers. And the original developer publishes a new game on the new account.
Or a more probable variant: the project owner attracts third-party developers at the initial stage of development, and then either tries to continue development with his own modest forces, or continues cooperation with them, but they have other, more important projects for them.
But, I'll say it again: it's just an assumption, conspiracy (if it's allowed).
If you vivisect the game (sorry, no one canceled decompilation), you can see that the author is really engaged in the development of the game, improving its core. And I understand many of the problems that arise in such cases. So, I advise everyone to just be patient some more. Wait, there will be a sequel.

Even her body proportions are weird here imo. DC's quality can be so hit and miss at times.

It's probably a perspective thing, but yeah. Without any context for what's happening in this scene, Debbie's arms look too short for her to wipe her own ass, and her thighs are about as thick as her waist. Also, DC really needs to fix the way he draws hands, because her opened hand would be longer than her forearm.

I actually REALLY like the thicker legs, so overall I'm a fan of this art. The problem is, for me, is that it doesn't transfer to her sprite sitting on her bed during the day or the scene where she's bending over and looking into the washing machine. I remember when we convinced DC to make her bottom half thicker than Diane's. Sadly, it doesn't translate across all his art.
