The roadmap was only stuck to for the first one (which it was impossible not to stick to, as that update was how the roadmap was announced). By the time of the second update, items were already being descoped versus the original plan
Unfortunately, the creators of this kind of game are always sick, having exams or moving, so it's a shame that it takes so long - it's one of my favorite games.
Can i ask a question? Did that guy drop finishing the original version only to restart a new version so he can slowly redevelop the whole game from the start while making 60K a year? Was the old version completely abandoned and never finished then? If that is the case he is creating a bad reputation for the gaming developer community.

Not to rehash an old argument (not to mention one where I was in the vast minority), but I think that the art has got worse in many places over time. I especially don't like how the boobs all began to look very similar (shape, nipple type, etc.) after the move to the standardised "rig" system, including clothes fitting over the top of the boob shape rather than compressing them a bit. Also, a long time ago -- back when all the portrait faces still had the crackhead cheekbone lines -- I thought the faces in the "CG" pictures looked a lot better than now. Most of the CG images now just have the portrait pics slapped on, with a few minor tweaks to accommodate the pose

What excuse would the "sunflower guy" need? He has nothing to do with how long Dark Cookie streams, and has no control over what he makes a month.
You just showed up and saw what little work has been done? On the art? On the back end programming? If I'm not mistaken, the last stream had a portion of time where DC explained in detail, on just how messy the entire game was, the multiple coders, then the story revisions and the art updates.
He learned to draw better? Have you actually seen any of the actual art he does? AFAIK, he was an artist for major game studios. I'm guessing that because you're new, that you probably didn't know that?
I have a suggestion for you, stop supporting his Patreon and you'll instantly feel better about the entire mess. It's the same thing myself, and other rational people say, when people on this site get so up in arms over the whole thing.
the OG art was sub par and trash now it looks like a Disney cartoon in comparison. go back and look at the old art you will see how bad it was. also the animation is only 3 frames. also im not new here. this is just a new account cuz i deleted my old one years ago. i don't support him. i gave him 5 bucks like 7 years ago and that was it. my best friend use to be an artist at blizzard. i know what good art looks like. he worked on diablo 3, 4 and overwatch.

I've been saying this way before the tech-update. The art is obviously technically better which is great but has gotten more generic in its style and some of the design choices are just unnecessary imo. Does Debbie really need to have gravity defying balloons for tits and have her robe almost show her bare pussy? Her whole character is a reluctant house wife, and making her basic character sprite so lewd like that makes no sense.
I know StS isn't meant to be a serious game but idk it just feels like they don't give a shit. Which should be obvious by all the meme characters that plague this game.
I wouldn't say it isn't fap worthy but I agree that it has absolutely no eroticism to it whatsoever.
