Oh wow i didn't know it was this bad for him, this changes everything, since he changed the "monthly payment" to "per episode" payment, he was in financial ruins for two years and he still delivered the tech update, oh wait....

Because they reworked Debbie. She 100% have a newer scenes if you will play the lastest version you will see that remake scene of Debbie suddenly stop after the shower scene or they switch them with the old ones. After two years they realized that if they release the remake Debbie that cash flow probably slow down. Other version is, if the thing with 21 update goes south(a lot of patrons quit) they will release the new debbie with excuse that they trolled people.

Every site i checked thinks this update was because of the tag here,even 4chan.
The cultists fanboys will tell you otherwise through,"the game is popular because of pornhub" btw:KEK:

They have scrambled to release what little conversion they've actually done over the last two years and, surprise, turns out it wasn't much.

Now watch people make Pikachu faces when the plan of "releasing it in parts every couple months" turns out as accurate as the original "the tech update will take us 3-4 months to complete". :sneaky:

Unfortunately, the Ronda update will come much later, if he now delivers the old content in a new version every 2 months. But then he'll at least have a basic framework and will then concentrate on the new storylines. And if he dares to do another poll about whether he should do a 4k tech update, then stop voting for it. We don't have DarkCookie to thank for the tech update, but his Patreons who voted for it and it got the most votes. So DC was just trying to implement what they "wanted". A game that was so far advanced... well... let's put it this way... it should have been clear to every Patreon that such a tech update would take time. With the new scenes, he has redeemed himself for me.

I've supported him again on Patreon. But... if he doesn't deliver in two months and it takes longer again, then I'll stop it immediately.

I'm going to try to say this with all the respect in the world, YOU, people like you are the problem, people like you are the reason Darkcookie can spend 2 years just scratching his own scrotum and pretending he's developing something.

Shouldn't we hate the game right now? Did DC draw "new" scenes and with extreme detail? Friend, have you seen the proportions of some characters like Jenny? She looks like the worms from the movie MIB with two hot air balloons attached to her body, and with fingers so thin that they could be used in prostate exams for those who give money to this crap game, not to mention scenes that are literally just mirrors of the original or that are only the template for the highlighted character.

Unfortunately Rhonda's update will come later? Friend, forget Rhonda, forget Judith, forget any character for the next 4 years, do you really want to give money to this guy who in his last post said in so many words "I don't care about this shit", if you want to spend money that bad in breasts, I recommend you look for a prostitute, I guarantee you will have much more fun than with this game that has no sound, no gameplay, no content, no dialogue and no love.

Everyone knows that the "UPDATE" came out just because of the abandoned tag, they want to keep their simps and stole all the money they can while they can. its sad because a lot of people is still defending this scam for some reason, they still have a lot of patreon.
is like if someone was paying for prime video and they had 5 tv shows on the platform and they say "oh yes, we are going to realese 2 more tv shows soon" and you wait 2 years paying the subscription waiting for those 2 new tv show and instead of that,they delete 4 out of the 5 tv shows... (i dont know any that dumb to pay for something they are not consuming anymore...)

anybody got a savefile or a way to turn the cookie jar on? got stuck where they kick you out of the mc's house and can't unlock none of it... but if the cookie jar is empty let me know too, appreciate it.

I think he should have done as some devs do and if the technical limitations are being hit, you break the game up into multiple part exes. I know that kills some of the sandbox of the game, but it has to be better than remaking the game from the ground up. Oh well, here is where Dark Cookie is at and he is going to have to make some tough decisions.

I think this game should receive the titles it deserves, some moderator should put the abandoned tag back, leave the title as Summertime Saga 0.20.16 and then create another thread with the name Summertime Saga Reboot version 0.1.0. or Summertime Reboot Saga.
