Or, maybe he's streaming shorter because he has deadlines to meet now. And as someone who used to be a regular in DC's streams in the early years, the streams really weren't that much more productive.
That being said, it's known that DC is lazy, and that he definitely cares about his Patreon income. So it isn't a reach to assume he tries to balance those two contradicting factors in his work ethic. I don't know if his streams being shorter in the same timespan as trying to release partial tech-updates is a good indicator of laziness though..
not only shorter steams but less days doing it. he has streamed only 10 days in the last 23 days....

Only two plausible reasons here;
1- He's really always sick because he has some sort of medical condition or his immune system is sadly really weak.
2- He's sick of working, like you say.
There is no other way that he can be always sick like that, for real.

When it first started it was every two weeks there was a new update to the game spanning from fifteen minutes to thirty minutes in game play.
Any indication that he's gotten a warning from Patreon regarding underage content?
