I don't care what Dark Cookie promised. My opinions about him come from the fact he's a professional game dev making his living on Summertime Saga and how pathetic the entire thing is compared to any other pro developer.

He is making a basic, bare bones visual novel with some minor minigames in an engine that handles most of the work for you. If I go to a restaurant and I find out it takes them 2 hours to make a box mac'n'cheese dinner, I'm gonna roll my eyes and rightfully call them pathetic and lazy. Same with a developer who takes a year to re-release content they already released. It's a joke.

Unfortunately by now it's clear that this boiled down to the widespread nowadays situation where developer(s) make believe they are developing and we make believe we are paying for it. Personally I can't complain, I'm not even really disappointed as I have no expectations left, just a faint remnant of hope.

Diane's scenes haven't migrated to the preview version v21.0.0, yet. Her content is still only v0.20.16 and earlier.

I remember being an original fan of DC WAYYYYYYYY back in the day in the first 10-15 patches. Shit was years ago at this point. He was a leader in the field at that point. Supported his project financially for quite a while. But man.... this thing has fallen and smacked it's head. So many of these developers forget that these PORN games are about the PORN. Stop trying to create some triple A mechanically functioning game. The wheel wasn't broke.... but he decided to "fix" it anyway....

Damn... 2 months for this? It is starting to get close to 4 years since they started working on the tech update. I don't like the milking meme but come on dude after all this time this is all you have to show? There devs that have started and finished full games in that time. This is ridiculous.

I do agree this update certainly wasn't it. At least the Jenny one had like 90% of her stuff. I guess the new UI does looks pretty sleek, but that should honestly have been the first thing to be updated above everything else when the game got the 16:9 treatment.
