The problem is the update of this thread comes only when the thread is flagged as "Abandoned". And honestly there is no new scene since like 2 years now. At the beginning it was ok, there was 3-4 new scenes per update every 4 months, and the promise of having enhanced draws. Now it's almost nothing, every 6 months.

I mean there is no shame to put it "On Hold" on F95, everyone could understand. But instead, DC prefers to feed hope of incoming updates by letting it "Ongoing", and only say "Oh but I do things" each time the site consider it as abandoned. Ok nothing was really promised, and most of the players don't pay to play. But it stills not a cool move. Beside I'm sure there would be far more patreon if the communication was honest.

Review bombing is not a solution, but it is not blameworthy either, given the context.

The abandoned tag on this site has nothing to do with updates and I wish people would let go of this silly fantasy of theirs.

Darkcookie's Patreon has been somewhat consistent through the last several years, and this sight has zero influence on the game or his patrons.

There's been updates in the last few years, with new sex and cutscenes, that expanded Jenny for the most part. The main issue is that even though a LOT of the game is ready to go with updated art assets on the rig, they're not plugged into the game, because the stories are being tweaked, and they have to be reconnected through the dialogue, not just the game itself.

Putting the game on hold doesn't work either, because he does streams at least 3 days a week, showing progress being made, albeit slowly. I'd say weekly, but that would be dishonest.

bro imagine if this is like a marketing strategy and he been working on everything on the game like to next update be the last one with the full version of it... would be absolute cinema woldnt it?!

why did the one i played seems like it's not up to date? i see that most of the option on the phone are greyed out like the stats despite it's already mentioned in the wiki. the unlocked content on the main menu also half of them are greyed out

If your playing the tech update all of the game features and content have not been ported over. If your not playing that no clue....

Because the old content in the stable v0.20.16 has no fully migrated over to the preview of the tech update, v21.0.0-wip.5091 (wip = "work in progress").

Well I played the pre tech one a couple times before the tech update hit so I ended up playing both in the end to be honest at this point I would play the pre tech play the tech just to see whats coming. If you a person who only plays a game once and you want to wait it will be a long while before all the content is migrated over and even longer for him to finish the loose ends...

isnt around half of the game missing? and isnt there many npcs that need to be revamped because they barely have any content even though they have a shitton of work you need to do to even get those scenes?

At the moment in the tech update release basically the only things you can really interact with are all related to the debbie and the teachers . so yeah you have to play a lot of days for each rout to progress all the stats have already been cheated up but they don't do shit like you cant go beat up dexter yet... and there are no mini games to grind stats atm anyways. ngl I played some of debbie and some of the french teach just to get a look at the new formatting art, .... new map... you get the pic. if you want to have fun playing the game then I suggest just playing the old ver for the next year there may be enough to warrant a serious play through of the new format (tech...) by then , who knows maybe even quicker
