It#s been a while, I gather the game is dead and there is not more to come? I've seen the stream before btw, but all it is, is him drawing stuff. You can't convince me drawing takes years. (I swear I could EASILY replicate one of his animations within a week, it would probably take a couple of days at most). That's the easy shit. As for the programming. With the amount of money put into this game he could have hired programmers. Which I assume he did. But then again, why is it taking years. It's not an AAA game. It's a freakin renpy game.

Maybe if his work was shown in an actual product (game), rather than through only advertisement ("Look, I'm doing stuff!" streams), people would've been more respectful of him. All of these "A ton of art is already finished, it's all about coding now!" excuses after a few years make it seem as if the coding part of his team is just some amateur coder working on it in his spare time on weekends. Can't really blame people for making fun of it.

It will be the end of the month. The new development pattern after the code refactoring is clear; releases will be regular, but the new content contained within each will be variable. The scope of the bi-monthly updates has already fallen behind their initial promises for the pace of the rebuild, so you can bet that the Tech Update has simply replaced Old Problems with New, rather than fundamentally upgrading the pipeline.
If you were a cynical man you could say the new structure is perfect for ensuring the game never receives the Abandoned tag again
