Summertime Saga has historically had issues with joiplay for quite a few people. That's why it's not recommended, particularly with both 32bit and 64bit apks available for up through android 14+

v21.0.0 has very very little content, especially compared to v0.20.16. that is why I suggest just playing v0.20.16 with a translation pack.
There are not "a lot" of tasks in v21.0.0. at all. And nearly all of the ones in v21.0.0 are in v0.20.16
No clue which things you are talking about. But 98% of all the content available is in v0.20.16 "stable" version. There is very little content that has migrated to the "preview" version of v.21.0.0 and has a smidge of content not in v0.20.16.
anything <= v0.20.16 has usually had joiplay problems. What version is your android os also is your device 64 or 32 bit, etc? I don't play on android, but maybe someone will have helpful info if you provide more info about your device.

It's all good! It was just a question. I've been using version 0.20.16 including translation for quite a while (without any problems) and was only interested in the newer version because in some places I only ever read that it's still in development and only works with a newer version!

Did the game got a reset/restart ? Whenever I try to load a save from someone else I still see that like the pizzaria and some other zones are still locked and there's not really much content.

If you want a lot of content without save compatibility and not being updated.... Play v0.20.16
If you want to play with updated GUI, 16:9 display ratio with minimal content that is being updated every two months... Play v21.0.0

It's your choice if you want to enjoy the entertainment derived from any of them - for free. You don't have to advertise on them. You don't have to contribute to them. You don't have to subscribe to them. You can simply enjoy them. You can do this while they earn money from advertisers, contributors, subscribers who make it possible for you to enjoy them for free.

I clearly and distinctly showed how the game is 100% free, directly from the developer for anyone who wants to play it, which was totor's point. Totor did go further, but the context of his statement was obvious -- DC provides the game for free for anyone to play. Also, English is not totor's first language, and that must also be considered in his grammar and word choice.
Even if you want to quibble.. no, he doesn't "make anything" from Summertime Saga, the game. The paid subscriptions provide subscribers other benefits in exchange for their $$$ - none of which are the game, itself. It's for discord channel and role access, wallpapers, 24-hour link prior to official public link, subscriber-only download faster servers, and other perks. But not the game.
Yes, people subscribe because they like the game and support DC continuing with the dev team to work on the game... But there is no written guarantee that what will be in releases or when releases happen, nor is it ever stated that playing the game, in any version, requires a subscription. If people think otherwise, that is their failing, because DC is clear on the Patreon in writing and in streams and other communications that the game is free for everyone to play, if they want.

Much more comprehensive list of changes to dialogue. I checked almost every line of dialogue and made sure it flowed correctly. This is not just a simple name change for the characters, but whole blocks of lines are back to their 14.5 version of the game (the last version that has incest). New dialogue written for this tech update also were taken into consideration since DarkCookie is adding new story beats. I'll try to make the dialogue conform to their familial relationship as much as possible. I also modified the art asset to fit the new widescreen resolution of the game, and will continue doing so as needed.

Relation Tweaker Mod is not compatible with my patch. However, I recommend using this one instead if you want to customize the relationship between characters. This patch allows step relations or mixed step/incest relations. It works with the new tech updateonly.

Naughty Tribute Mod is not an incest patch, but a mod for the pre-tech version (0.20.16). There are some compatibility issues I haven't looked into yet. Someone in this thread uploaded a fix here, and while I haven’t personally tested it, you’re welcome to give it a try.
