As time has gone on I have come to appreciate the 'rebuild the code' line as the troll job it is. At first I thought it was the sincere self-criticism of an amateur developer who was in over their head when he created something that became way more popular and in-demand than anticipated. Now he's just plainly having a laugh. And I'm here for it.

Why does the game have no sound?
The sound is active until the end, but no sound, no music, no effect is played?

It's crystal clear that this update wasn't supposed to exist and the new updates system was made to avoid losing more subscribers due the lack of new content, I'm pretty sure it was made in a rush with a few scraps from the actual tech update that they surely intended to release as a whole by the end this year or early next year and released because their supporters were getting angry because they hadn't updated shit for two years.

Because they haven't been added yet. Hence why they're transparent.
Supposedly he's going to be drip feeding the rest of the already existing content once every 2 months, but 2 years ago they said the whole tech update would only take 4 months, so to say "take that with a grain of salt" would be a massive understatement.

Because they haven't added those yet, only the colored ones are available right now. Every two months they'll add some items from that list, with the next ones being the teachers and two mini-games.

Could you guys imagine if we got two+ years worth of content updates completing WHOLE character stories and adding brand new stuff but nah we get the not done yet tech update where we can see the extra garbage can on the side of the screen lol
