I personally have two opinions about the Diane update. On the one hand side, I liked the old story, and I do not find the new one is a great improvement. I mean, destroy the house to build a barn, that's plain stupid, honestly. On the other hand, updating older artwork is most welcome. Unfortunately, there is only one new scene, which is a replacement for an older scene, so nothing new.

Now we have the same for Jenny update, where I also kind of liked the story before. I think there is only little danger that we destroy MCs home to build a "Webcam Factory", so let's see how the new story goes. And there is certainly a lot of scenes to be improved. So I bet it will be worth the wait.

I am definitely looking forward to the Eve, and Main Story updates, where I expect something at least as epic as the Roxxy update.

Same here. Up until the Diane update the game felt reasonably grounded, even with Aqua and weird "sex cult" thing at the school. But I think DC might have just taken the whole Diane milk business a little too far by having her destory her own home to replace it with a barn where she plans to milk more women.

I feel like there could've been a better story here by introducing Daisy earlier because, since she's a magical cow-girl, she's more well-suited to producing milk as she not only needs to be milked regularly but she also enjoys it. They could have had the story go that when Diane is exhausted from trying to fulfill her massive order for the school, the MC finds the first piece of the Daisy statue when doing the gardening which would lead him to finding all the other pieces and bringing Daisy back to life. Eventually, once she's settled in, Daisy would become the source of milk for Diane's company taking all the burden off Diane who would not destroy her house but simply get that "milking chair" for the shed. Then, after a moment of sexual celebration in Diane's bedroom, she gets impregnated by the MC.

Even with the magical cow-girl, I still feel like this story would make more sense than what we have right now.

Indeed, i was looking forward to her update, but since the Patreon shitstorm the original 0.16 (which should have been her update) got to Roxxy and the Aunt update removed more than improve it, i'm hesitant into trying her update, especially if it's going to be written as if she wasn't MC's sister her scenes are not going to be the same.
Especially if she's (from what i've understood) going to have some of her scenes removed, and i would rather have her scenes improved on (like the mom's 0.14.5 update) and add new scenes just like the mom, maybe a missionary on bed\ tittyfuck or bj\hj\69 or improve her request scenes to add progression to add more than groping her boobs for 500 $, when she lets us pound her for free in the shower\bed\couch\camshow.

But it's her love confession the thing i looked forward the most.

I think that should have been our warning that SS is less of a "realistic game where everyone's extra-horny for the sake of convenience," though it might flirt with that for certain characters, and more of a "trip to PornLand, the theme park where everyone is a walking fetish and the points don't matter."

Personally I don't have anything wrong with that (though I still find the Mia storyline to be super jarring), but I can understand why others might. Personally, I like it when the stories are neatly divided between "realistic" (say, Roxy) and "bizarre" (Daisy), and I'm less fond of stuff like Mia and Debbie where the realism level shifts mid-storyline. Weirdly, I have no problems walking from Roxy and straight to Daisy! I guess my brain can just shift gears no problem?

Yeah, I can agree with this. The monster girls, Diane, Mia (to some extent), Mrs. Okita as well as some other story lines are pretty far-fetched, but I feel like the game benefits more from it than it would without some sense of fantastical plot. Having Diane's milking story and Aqua's tentacle lair are nice reprieves from otherwise somewhat vanilla story lines like Debbie's, and Roxxy's.

The sctructure of the dialogue is COMPLETLY different for it. Things that could work for the non incest thing but would make it easier for them to "fix" the game adding back the incest later are NOT being implemented lol.

Idk, it really wouldn't take that much effort to change it. Just certain dialog would need to be fixed, most if not all of the artwork is fine the way it is. Seeing as how DC has already promised this and a good portion of his patron base is expecting it, I doubt he'll forget about it, especially if he decides to make another game after SS. In fact, if there was a good enough incest patch out for it by the time of completion, they could just integrate that and be done with it. Idk, maybe you guys are right and he'll just drop the ball on us like that, but I really doubt it.

He redid the family scenes to have them make more sense while the game is in development. Yeah, it's a questionable move for sure, but even so, it really wouldn't be that hard to change back to true incest. The story lines may have changed some, but not so drastically that it would be that hard to restore.

I think both are possible. If fans can patch it back in within a reasonable amount of time, DC and his team can certainly do it as well in even less time - of course only once the game is fully done and removed from patreon. Yes, a lot will depend on the reworks but at least in for example Diane's case the amount of work that's needed to properly adapt her story is small. A few new dialogs/poses and that's it.

I'm not sure about that. Right now it's clear that SS will stay on patreon and that the whole situation won't change for a long time. He can't and won't release a crippled game which doesn't make sense, so changes to adapt the new story had to happen. He simply hasn't got a choice but to move on right now. But that doesn't mean that dialogs and a few items can't be adapted later on. I mean, he's spending a way bigger amount of time on reworks right now and he was always willing to change things if he wanted it. So I don't see why it's "impossible" for him and his team to spend ~4 to 6 weeks at some point to create the "final version".
