Yes, but what I'm saying is that a lot of things in the game have been a WIP for years. The Dev really should complete one project BEFORE moving on to the next one.

In most cases this is actually a simple question of worldbuilding and story telling.
You can either basically start with a dead, empty world and have very few characters available, while adding more, when you actually want to introduce content for them, or you make your world alive by adding most of them from the start, so you can use these characters for quests and stuff. That of course risks some of them not getting real content for years and a lot of things being WIP.

Last but not least, ultimately it's up to those who pay to vote who is next - if they hadn't voted for the main story and the tech update, for example, we'd likely be having content for Ronda, Annie and Judith by now.

Edit: Just to add, I'm not saying that DC is doing everything straight to the point and that there hasn't been quite a bit of content that technically wouldn't have been necessary. All I'm saying is, that it's not as clear cut as it may sound.

Pre-tech 5 will have 7 h-scenes with the warehouse girls (Svetlana, Katya and Khadne).Kim's Sister scene is not for upcoming update.

I like the game a lot and used to be a patron a few years back, but it's pretty obvious with the way the game has been trending. Went from an update every 3 months, to 2 updates a year. I would do the same if I made 5 figures every month regardless of my work output, so no hate to DC. Its just weird to see people defend him and this game so adamantly when it's pretty obvious he is bored/checked out

As noted above : Kim's sister isn't part of anything. DC working on her for 6 months won't do anything. His part for the tech build was mostly finished last year. Everything he's been doing since then is random junk and/or R(h)onda's update (which should be mostly done by now).

You and most other crylords will really need to figure this out : DC does art. Period. Everything else is made by other people. Saying "dev blows, he's been milking for years while doing nothing" is not only factually incorrect, you're also moaning about the wrong dude

Like in Roxxy's case for example, instead of going right to sex once MC beats Dexter and finishes her story, he'll be able to take her out on dates to unluck a bit of additional lewd content, before the actual sex scenes and the possibility to take her as his prom date are unlocked.

I really wish he'd worked out the dating system earlier on. It would have added so much more depth to the game beyond fetch quests and following the phone walkthrough, and he could have added small bits to build up multiple characters rather than trying to get out entire storylines in one massive chunk. The sex scenes are great, but I really love all the little interactions you get when you take characters out into the world and see them bounce off one another. So much of Roxxy's charm comes from seeing her slagging on Becca/Missy, getting into fights with Eve, or rolling her eyes at Dexter. I think Judith would have won her poll a lot earlier if we'd gotten to know her outside of just blushing at the MC or being the buttmonkey of the sexy situation du jour.

Trying to shoehorn it into a late-stage game is going to be a pain and a half, too. Lord knows we don't get enough complaints about save compatibility as is, and I wouldn't be shocked if it results in another long dev fiasco unless they're laying the groundwork for it as part of the Tech Update. Here's hoping, anyways.

It's pretty clear you've never been a manager or boss before on a project. When you're a manager even if something is not your direct responsibility, at the end of the day the consequences are on you. DC is the boss, he gets to decide how the money is spent and what is done on the game. The patreon is called DarkCookie...

And you seem to think this entire thing is supposed to be managed like a major dev/big company. Here's a tip : it's not. It never was and it never will. You're also merely 6 years late to everything. Good on you.

"He has no say on coding". Of course he doesn't, he hired 4+ dudes over the years so he doesn't need to code anything. Also, why do you it's taking so long to get the tech build out ? Surely not cause the 1 part-time coder we got now doesn't have to go through everything made by those 4+ dudes from 6 years ago, said 4 dudes who buttfucked everything and why we're getting the tech build in the 1st place

Why would I think he's my friend ? I never go to the streams. Just because having some common sense/basic knowledge of how things work makes me buttbuddies with DC ? Seems right. Next time you go into any thread and tell people how they need to get better at not sucking, hope you get called out for being a close friend to said dev

You can start to rejoice : the tech build will 99%+ fuck every1's save. And that'll hopefully fix everything ever, so no1 will be able to cry their saves aren't compatible anymore (even though there's been little to no problem since 0.18 over 4 years ago)

Not taking into account DC lives in EST, it's 1am by now. Most people are probably sleeping. Most people also don't know wtf is happening with batch 5, not being the tech build and having 3 girls nobody cares about

No, I was not joking - I host over 20GB of files there with no problems. As long as the files are actively downloaded, speed is not downscaled.

However, ************* is having bandwidth and server problems.
