I'm completely sure that an experienced programmer in 2 weeks would be able to do what Dc took 2 years to do, just using the same animations and base image, but still doing all the programming from scratch, and even if it were to do the entire project from scratch, having the same number of team members as him and using ia for the base of the images, there would be more content than we have now, DC is a lazy person supported by his donors who are content with a piece of bone and 2 stones, voting for this tech-downgrade and continuing to pay for 2 years until this beta comes out, is the same as paying for DC to shit in everyone's mouth, the difference is that the shit at least comes out right away.
Is this right? I just played the tech update version and there are no x-rays anymore. This seems like a downgrade....
Are they planning to add this back in, or it's just out now... Seems odd to remove content...

well i was one of the subs and voted for a tech update. never knowing the content will be taken away. DC make a map with lots of opportunities for new questlines etc wihich can be seen as a good thing. But man taking out 90% of the game out and make the game a tech demo? it is not a good thing.
Updates should be for the upgrade of the game this seems a downgrade with a fancy look. if this update came with a name such as tech demo the can be aspects that people here can understand. also it can be understandable if it was said the rest of the content we did not put in will be completed in a month. i must admit i like DC's drawings as an art style.
as for the game
+ new map is a good thing opens up new questlines
+ changing the quests work will give new feeling
+ new quest log looks and good.
- removing %90 of content is not the way this should be
- adding existed contend in 2 month (it can be 3 to 6 months known from our past experience) intervals way worse than removing them
overall of my thoughts about the game and its creator : see you in 2 more years.

So after years of the fight against the Russian mafia, the long-hoped-for mayor (T)Rump's imprisonment, the birth of hundreds of children, hectoliters of milk for Diane (and Daisy), the tons of bugs eradicated from the field, all we were missing was coach Bridget's A+ grade and the long-hoped-for child with Debbie, but instead... plot twist, reset everything and restart the game with different graphics.

Good job, man! Voting for the tech update was totally a good idea. There were no signs by DC that he was going to milk us dry previous to this update! : )
Also, I think that this confirms the death of the game. It's going to be a slow burner - for sure; very meek and subpar updates henceforth. I don't care who's fault it is, I don't care for the reasons either, but the truth is clear: he can't deliver the game as he used to.

I would suggest you just run through the content that are there.
Under settings>gameplay you can select skip unseen text, then you can hold ctrl to skip all text.
You can skip time, do content, skip time.
There isn't that much content anyway.
I think you are to optimistic, DC has shown no interest in adding new content.
I don't believe that any of the new locations will be used, he will done implementing the content of 20.16 in a year earliest and more realistic 2-3 years.
He will then go for another tech update and the cycle continues.
Years before the tech update was voted through he had already dropped the amount of updates and the content of each significantly, I know as I was subscribed to his patreon from around when he started it up, I dropped out as it became clear that he had become complacent.
I hope that I am wrong, but he has shown nothing to persuade me to think otherwise.

All lewd scenes except one are in v0.20.16, which has dozens more scenes than the current v0.21.0. if you only want to unlock the lewds and not actually play the game, just download v0.20.16.

thinking it will open up routes for new quests etc. not knowing the recent content will be taken out entirely well being optimistic was not my intent, as personality i always give people a chance once or thrice
tbh all this procedure can be handled better imo. but overall blindly defending or blindly bad mouthing never should be the way of reacting to a badly handled situation imo.
from my perspective as an old supporter. coding and posing was always hectic.
and lets be honest
are there better games in this platform or any other ? yes there are.
are there worse handled games ? yes there are.
could this update handled differently ? absolutely.
will all the questions above change anything ? Never!
so again for the sake of the 4000+ pages here lets calm down because DC will never join and answer anything here. so instead of argueing one can take action such as not playing the game or unsubscribing from the game. at the end of the day this is not
a life and death situation.

What new scene was added? I can't even get past the Jenny "I can't believe things aren't more awkward between us" quest. No matter how many hand jobs I get there's no next step anywhere AFAIK.
