Someone in one of the earlier posts said StS lacks eroticism and I mostly agree with that. There are moments throughout, however. I think the first time Roxy and MC end up in the locker is erotic. I also think there a few moments in the Jenny story. There is definitely a sexuel tension between them. I think the most eroticism exists in the Debbie story, though. There is a lot of build up in it with a wide range of emotions. I think the scene with Debbie and MC at night in her bed is the most intimate in the game.

I got around to playing the update and I enjoyed it. I thought the crossword puzzle scene was funny and I laughed out loud and it opened the door to looking at Debbie with a different lense. I think the lawn mowing scene change was a great one and excellent change from the previous iteration. I like the blushing and embarrassment involved. I think the pipe fixing scene lost something. I realize they wanted to make it more of a Debbie scene than Jenny scene, but it was really good how it was. I think Jenny's line about the MC being the only one without tits and telling him to sac up is fucking hilarious and fits her character REALLY well. The lotion and massage scene got a fantastic upgrade and is way better than it was before and really pushes the eroticism.

I hear now that DC has said they won't finish Debbie on the next update either. It's disappointing that they didn't get more accomplished. I debated becoming a patron again because I have a few ideas for Debbie that maybe I could persuade to get in the game, but I just can't reward the level of output. There is still so much to get to that I wonder if Debbie will become an eight month update. I'm sure many of you will be pissed at that but I'm good. The more Debbie the better IMO.
I haven't played the update and I don't plan to until Debbie is actually fuckable, so thank you for giving an actual review of the content that is there now.

Hey, at least this game is getting updates at all!

If you think you've got it bad you should take a look at the Offcuts thread... :alien:

Hah, that game still exists?

I personally think being a fan of BaDIK is the most suffering. Has that gotten its annual update yet?

21.0.0 wip.5258
Resolved Debbie's route failing to re-activate correctly in some migrated saves.
Fixed soft-lock in Judith's locker when reclaiming library book from Camila.

.... 2 changes.... Can someone please enlighten me exactly how many days has it been between the wip.5252 update and 5258?

Back in 2019 it took them ~6 months to rework Jenny's story and scenes, so I guess one should expect Debbie to be in that same ballpark, depending how much they'll add on top.
The issue with this is they (+the resident shills) were saying that only the coding was the real bottleneck these past few years. We were assured that DC was using the time to get ahead of the art tasks and the release cadence would be faster once the tech update was done.
Now we can see the reality that actually this project is just being drip fed to us to keep that patron train going.

If you think about it, it's really very easy. During normal times, it's always the art, that was the bottle neck. That's how it has been for years and that's how it'll be again, once the tech update is done.
With the tech update that did change, but given that they - for what ever reason - had to add Debbie's rework spontaneously we are back at square one. What we are getting now really isn't the tech update itself anymore, but an interruption of the tech update to rework Debbie.

I mean, it was clear that Debbie's art wasn't done, when it wasn't added inintial the tech update release. As such it's no surprise that it'll take a few months. This really isn't about he said she said but simply about using ones brain.

False news, Patreon's current logo is some dumb amorphous blob that's the definition of mid life crisis:

No, I'm not joking. That's it. That's the logo. So you're lying... but not about anything else. ;)
The fuck is that lmfao, it looks like something your therapist would give you and then ask you "What do you see in this image?"

Just yesterday I also said that some hardcore autism is making them rewrite Debbie's story. So there's that, too.

How can the art be done when the story was changed, and new dialogue and scenes were added at a later time?

Patreon takes their small cut, taxes paid out to the government and then he has to pay his coder, his writer, his posing team, then pay his animator or animators, plus the occasional hire when he has someone do colors after doing the linework.

My estimation of his annual income after everything is said and done is about 150-180k. It's still quite a lot, but not the numbers some people are guessing.
everyone that works for a living losses some cut to the govt.
so I don't know why you are excluding it.

Trust me, the entire internet has clowned them for it and continues to do so but they seemingly don't care and have held to it for years. There's a reason a lot of creators use their old logos still even though it's technically against the ToS lol.

We were told that DC was drawing art assets for future updates whilst the coding was holding up the tech update. We were also told that the coding foundations being fixed woud speed up updates. It was a way to sell the delay more.
I don't believe either fyi, at least in terms of delivering us faster updates going forward.
