Didn't know how slow the tech update progress was until i checked with thewaybackmachine on the summertime saga news page. Started after 20.08 was released (March of 2021) and at the end of October of 2022 the last pre-tech version was released (20.16) with the tech update being about 80% complete. Two and a half years and the tech updated version has almost none of the content of 20.16. I can understand the frustration, but the patreon comments and the memes are too funny.

Also - Remember that Debbie's art update and storyline tweak wasn't to be part of the tech update, originally. It was supposed to take place sometime after the next three content updates after the tech update. Until Debbie's update is done, the progress bar is likely frozen because they aren't focused on the tasks actually intended the tech update (as shown below, from my FAQ):
- 86% 01 Mar 2025 (580/670 tasks)
- 86% 01 Feb 2025 (580/670 tasks) **
- 86% 01 Jan 2025 (580/670 tasks)
- 86% 01 Dec 2024 (580/670 tasks) **
- 86% 01 Nov 2024 (580/670 tasks)
- 86% 01 Oct 2024 (577/670 tasks) **
- 85% 01 Sep 2024 (575/670 tasks) - Latter part of Sep it was announced the next updates would be all Debbie until her story and art was updated.

- 85% 01 Jul 2024 (572/670 tasks)
- 83% 31 May 2024 (557/670 tasks) **

If you want a lot of content without save compatibility and not being updated.... Play v0.20.16
If you want to play with updated GUI, 16:9 display ratio with minimal content that is being updated every two months... Play v21.0.0

lol dude is still working on debbie and jenny content. LOL 10 months ago he put out his road map.... we still on the first part of it.

There’s no excuse for why he’s working on content that was supposed to come out after the tech update instead of the tech update. The whole point was to make the game wide screen and smoother.
He should have reworked routes after the tech update was complete and all the old content was reimplemented.

When this guy gets halfway through that Roadmap, maybe a little more. 4K is going to be the standard resolution by then. And again, "tech update." If you think about it, it's the perfect business system (scam).
Have to admire the creator - is getting paid to remake his own game even slower then he originally made it.

All the artwork is done in 4k when drawn. In the past, he had to downsize and crop for the 4:3 ratio.

It's been almost 13 months since this post. 47 months later for what was supposed to take 4 months
When the tech update came out and it had all the content of the 0.01 version, I decided to wait until the teachers were done to try it all again. I didn't realizing I was gonna be sitting until 2028 on that plan.
Before, Tech Update has around 5% of the content and won't ever be finished.
