Question: why is that the scenes i see in the attached screenshots are not in the game I downloaded?? like the aunt debie questline is dead it says wait future update but from the attached screenshots i can see there are scenes. same for the gym scene?

Did i download the wrong version or something? I am a new player so asking this question, especially after seeing it has such high views n so many pages, so i am assuming its pretty old?? IDK any help is appreciated

Sure. That's what a lot of us have said over and over for months in this thread.

Depends upon what you want.

Do you want to play (nearly) everything already in the game?
If yes, play v0.20.16 - but know that you will have to play it all over again once v21.0.0 is completed sometime (next year?) because saves from v0.20.16 and prior are not compatible with v21.0.0 because of the rewritten code and variables. New content is scheduled once v21.0.0 is completed.

Do you want to play in the updated, more optimized code with some updated character artwork, and with 16:9 display ratio (plus other fine tuning)?
If yes, play v21.0.0-wip.#### - but know that you will only have limited content at this time and only playing remaining content as it is released in chunks about every other month if the developer stays on their schedule - until it catches up.

The developer makes both available for free to the general public for download from their website. F95 makes both available for free for members to download from the first post of this thread.

Love how the garden minigame has been added but being paid for it, which happened to be the whole point in anyone bothering to do it, is still not there. Oh it shows you earned X amount for the task but it never credits that amount to your money at all. If that is broken then why waste my time wit the rest of the crap update at all. I will check back again in 8 years. Maybe by then he will have most of the First part of the story actually added in. This game now is the worst one out there. Its on a lower bar than the Bad Bobby games.

Anon doesnt need the money in v21.0.0-wip.#### at this time. The preview mode gives full stats and $10,000,000 for Anon. The reason for this is because the minigames are not fully implemented yet.

If you want to play the full game with mini games, play the "stable" version v0.20.16 while they continue to work on the "preview" version v21.0.0-wip.####

For my purposes I considered the game more or less 'complete' once MC uncovered the mystery of his father's death.

All that stuff about school and the prom and the dating system and pregnancy.....I found it all kind of silly, but to each their own. So yes, for my purposes the game was done at the point when DC started this tech update stuff. There were a handful of female characters that MC might have been able to get with that he hadn't yet (at least not fully), but they screamed "DLC". I found the game somewhere around v0.12 iirc, it would be interesting for someone else to look at the changelog and see how much there was at v0.12 and compare it to how much of the game has been reworked to date in the tech update. Is he keeping pace with his own rate that he put out new content when he was inventing it out of whole cloth?

whatever this guy says he will do, he wont. he said that the debbie arc would be finished and released in the january update. there has been now an additional update after that and it's still not even close to being finished.

there is so much unfinished material, from teachers, Roxxy, Eve, Diane, main story, pizza and car shop, bank, beach and so on, that it's save to assume that by the pace he is going right now it probably will take him until late 2026 if not deep into 2027.

Forget this guy and this game. Stop following it. Stop supporting it. Return in a couple years and maybe have a complete updated game with some extra scenes who arent actually worth it, based on those "extra" scenes he has put in the game so far.

Whatever he says, is complete crap. Dont trust this guy. He is a scammer.

No. It wasn't. You know it wasn't.

It was not. There are many goals for the tech-update, but adding content was not the prime reason. People made that assumption because code revisions would -hopefully- make the code more efficient and less of a mess to work with for future updates.

And without those subscribers, DarkCookie would still have to work for other people and only spend free time working on Summertime Saga, with maybe 1 other person (Sploosh) helping him. There wouldn't be a v0.20.16. it would still be back at v0.15.0 or some such.
So instead of insulting the subscribers by projecting your entitled insecurities, perhaps you should consider thanking them for subscribing... Or not saying anything at all.

And I say this as a person who has never subscribed to any adult game dev.

Naw. It's just that I comprehend their role in our ability to have adult games in development.

Hell I haven't even played an adult game for a couple of months and I only follow a handful. There are people here who play adult games several hours per day and follow well over 100. If there are no subscribers, then there are much fewer games for the coomers and gooners.
