That's the point. There is nothing new in the update, it's stuck at 86% for months. It's been months and there is no improvement. So you can expect people (or at least newcomers) to be surprised at this.

Since they are now releasing updates every 2 months, don't expect the progress tracker to be updated any time soon.

The preview of the tech update is still missing a lot of content that hasn't been migrated from the old version.

It's a game that was mostly finished before the dev decided to remake it entirely. "Impatient" doesn't really describe the disgruntlement. It's more "what you had was good, and you only had a few characters left to flesh out, and now we're starting over."

The slow drip of content doesn't help either, but if you bring that up here the DC Defense Force shows up and starts screaming "It's a free game!" at you.

its far more likely its sunk cost fallacy. the Dev has been drip feeding content to the tune of at least half a million dollars a year. Ofc people who have sunk money into the game are going to run defense because theyve spent more than is reasonable supporting the game. Defending the game is defending their own terrible decision making.

Its no different than gatcha players who sink tons of money into a game and their entire online life is spent shilling for it and shitting on every new gatcha game that releases.

Never paid a dime for this game, so zero money from me to DARKCOOKIE.
Still i defend him for several reasons.

Can someone explain how to install this game using the apk version in the first Page. I already downloaded the file and extracted but I don't know what to do next ?

You should't need to extract the APK itself.

Go into Android settings on your phone, and find and enable "install unknown apps" or something like that. This may need to be enabled per app. In this case the file explorer of your choice.

Select and install the apk directly with your file explorer.

I personally use Solid Explorer.

so im going to ask the question that is probably asked alot whats left to do/redo i haven't played any of the updates from the Tech Update manly coz when i do jump back in i want to get the new experience all at once not drip fed over many many months but that has left me playing peek-a-boo to see when its done

It's better to play the version that has all the content, this version doesn't have half of the other version.

Frankly, I never imagined the SS would be that game to divide the F95 and other platform communities into brand war esque camps like CoD vs BF/other FPS franchises. But then again, nobody thought AAA gaming would be this ridiculous and indies would overtake almost everything or Covid happened and other significant stuff up to present times, back in 2016 when SS kicked off. I originally had a vision that SS would get completed like any other good incest themed game on F95 then fade into the obscurity to never be seen again, but mentioned across many threads as "oh yeah, I recall that game!". And now I have none or at least a very dreadening.

But here we are in 2025 with the game state being woeful... ∠(‘-‘ )

Incest Patch for the latest update (WIP 6155) and the Pre-Tech Version (0.20.16)

This is a patch that reverts back the relationship of the characters to how it was before the change in Patreon policy.

Why use this patch? ​

Much more comprehensive list of changes to dialogue. I checked almost every line of dialogue and made sure it flowed correctly. This is not just a simple name change for the characters, but whole blocks of lines are back to their 14.5 version of the game (the last version that has incest). New dialogue written for this tech update also were taken into consideration since DarkCookie is adding new story beats. I'll try to make the dialogue conform to their familial relationship as much as possible. I also modified the art asset to fit the new widescreen resolution of the game, and will continue doing so as needed.

What about other incest patches out there?

outdated and shouldn't be used. Lots of text bugs and not made for the latest pre-tech version.

is not compatible with my patch. It hasn't been updated in a while and all the changes that patch offers is also included in my patch.

Relation Tweaker Mod is not compatible with my patch. However, I recommend using this one instead if you want to customize the relationship between characters. This patch allows step relations or mixed step/incest relations. It works with the new tech update only.

Relation Tweaker Lewd+ is standalone and should work with any incest patch/mod. It works with the new tech update only.

Naughty Tribute Mod is not an incest patch, but a mod for the pre-tech version (0.20.16). There are some compatibility issues I haven't looked into yet. Someone in this thread uploaded a fix here, and while I haven’t personally tested it, you’re welcome to give it a try.

Installation:​

Pick only one version of the mod. Use the appropriate patch for the version of the game you're using.

I noticed some lines of dialogue still use "tenant" and Diane also says she and Debbie aren't twins, I'm not expecting you to update this every other month so is there any way to edit these lines myself? Thanks
