I guess it gives a bit more visual stimulus. I don't really care either way since I started way back with older doujin Visual Novels so static images with scene descriptions are the norm for me, but DC doesn't really describe the scene as such and mostly has the "dialogue" being the main thing so the scenes being animated help in that case.It's DC's vision so whatever he wants to do i'm ok with but I almost wish he didn't use animations for the sex scenes if it causes so many delays the past year. That said, I mostly get my arousal from the situation and the illustration just helps giving context to said situation. The animations don't really do anything for me, but that's me, I wonder how much they do for the avarage consumer. If i'm a minority and most people get really turned on by the animation work.
But to be fair it's not just the animations that cause longer waiting times between updates. He's also spending time to flesh out the characters more than previous updates. The teacher update alone fleshed out a lot of characters and not just from the faculty.
