So what? The only thing I know is that my hard drive is 99% FULL of abandoned, unfinished and most-likely-never-to-be-finished Patreon games. Those guys DID finish theirs, so I'm glad.

The 'what' is, that as long as DC & co continue to put out regular updates (as slow as they may be), they aren't part of that 99%.

If it meant the future updates would come out sooner, less buggy, and with save file compatibility I don't think most people would mind.

its because DC is getting paid out the ass, if he was just making $1000 a month like Insexual Awakening developer Sex Course Studio (real amazing game BTW) i wouldn't complain at all, but when Dark Cookie is makeing bank at $56K its another story

Insexual Awakening is probably the best western RPG out right now, thought this was the best but the last update killed it a lot for me. Insexual Awakening is just as big as this game, has great art akin to this one, good sweet easy to follow story and zero to little bugs, and the save games migration works flawlessly with updates not forcing you to play the game 17+ times over again to just see a hand full of new scenes each time , SMH everytime. DC would do good to take a look at how a real good RPG is made, real shame Sex Course Studio doesn't get more money, for as good as it. instead people dump all their money it in to this game to experience annoyance, frustration, aggravation from all the bad coding, and it isn't just this last SS update either like the last 4-5 updates have all had game breaking bugs, that's not good

and another thing Drop Factory did pregnancy and lactation way better how come DC couldn't do the same?

don't get me on the fetch quests, dialog, and mini games, after 17+ play through's they start to ware thin real quick

On the last update I got infinite loop for taking her thing from the teacher (forgot what its name), and now I already got the loop the moment I started her quest line.
Great game, but also has so many shitty bugs.

funny how patrons are complaining the least to so they don't feel stupid giving DC $56k a month, patrons praising a bug ridden game seems to me your just trying to justify your investment.

The majority of Patrons chose the Main story as the development focus for 0.20, which will come after the Eve update (0.19)!
The main story update is a big one. It will touch on a variety of stories all connected to the Father plot. Some of those characters include Maria/Tony, the car dealership, Mayor Rump & family, the police department and the mob boss & henchmen. Across all those characters we will introduce quests, events, sex scenes and pregnancies!

0.17.1 hotfix:
We're planning on releasing a hotfix for the latest update to get rid of some small remaining bugs. This way, players can enjoy a more stable version of the game while they wait for 0.18.

0.18 development:
We've already started doing a lot of work for 0.18 with the Jenny character art improvement. I will be creating all the tasks for it shortly which will then allow us to update our progress bar tracking.

The threesome was triggered by getting caught having sex with Diane on the couch IIRR, I got stuck before it happened and had to restart though, so can't say for sure.

The more reason the next 2 updates shouldn't have to be Eve's and the main storyline. Yet things aren't going to be this way.

I agree, but that is the problem with letting the supporters decide every update. Bitch at them.

in my full opinion DC should spend a whole next update fixing the game and making it stable for everyone instead of making the story bigger. i agree the story needs to be finished, but the game needs to work properly first too.

I couldn't care less about the main story getting done, that is the last thing I want done, next to the dating system.

I appreciate the positivity, but content is what people want. Not software updates. We understand the importance of having them, but having an update with literally no content and blaming it on the software upgrade is just an excuse for a bad update in the end.

Too bad, the updates NEED to be done. Not only it is making the game faster, smoother, and more stable, but it is reducing the size and speed of the save files by about 90%. So, deal with it, that is the thing about a WiP, sometimes real work has to be done. It can't all be fun and games.

i just really hope it doesn't take the year or 2 others are saying to make this game fully stable, by then people will probably have moved on unfortunately, i really don't think i can take 5-6 more updates being forced to replay endlessly with these game braking bugs, and like i said before it wasn't just this update, its been the last 3-4 for me, just finally decided to say something about it

No one is disputing that fact, but thank you for the "candid" commentary. My original post was more about getting caught up in a spiral of trying to "improve" the art to the detriment of the game. It kind of got lost in all the noise. Not to mention, you can make it all about fun and games no matter how terrible the situation gets. You just need to live a little longer, and you'll get it one of these days.

its always being updated and at faster rate then SS too, granted they are small updates but they do add up though, its getting to be as big if not bigger then SS, and holy shit the cookie jar system is way better too. multiple different way to go about them, you can ask the npc's for more sex after the first sex act and get different dialog, or you can dream and revisit the whole entire original story sequence over again, or you can just go to the gallery and just see the still frames if that's all you want, it so quick and to the point too

use this mod and only use the non-insect patch version (incest version doesn't work), with this you can force all the cookie jar scenes open in v0.17, after you install it the mod should give conformation of working before the main menu, then go in to the attic and click on the rooster painting and select to open all scenes. this how i got to see the mom aunt threesome scene, as my game keep braking so i gave up trying to play it and just used the mod.

Most of the bugs are usually fixed in the bug fix version, usually only takes about a week. Other than occasionally the stat grinding, or something the mom/sis route (which will be split up in the next update), you don't have to replay much of anything, I don't get why people keep saying that, but you don't. This one being the exception, because to get all of the scenes you need Debbie's route done, but you normally just need to do the new stuff.

Well, the 'improved art' is almost done, and it had to be done to make it compatible with the new 'rigging' system, which makes everything more fluid, smooth, and compact. It works better, it looks better, and it takes less space for the game's size.
