I'm honestly curious at this point how many of those complaining and whining in this thread have actually supported the game financially in some way at some point, as opposed to playing a game that can be downloaded from here for free.

Hopefully no one. Anyone who gave money for a free Ren'py-engined game that was supposed to release a "tech update" in 2021 ("don't worry guys, it will take us 2-3 months!!! after that you will have the long awaited Ronda update!!!") in the last 4 years is a moron.

My goodness. We've all been waiting for the tech update for years. Now it finally came, without content. And now it takes so long a second time to add the old content again until it finally continues. The code in the background must be quite a disaster

It's Ren'py engine, bro. I guess most Ren'py devs here on F95 are fucking geniuses.

I certainly do have empathy for scam victims. What I have no empathy for is a) people whining about a game they probably haven't paid anything for (please note the usage of the word "probably") and b) when said whiners have shown zero empathy for scam victims.

Now for something for you to try: comprehend that not every question or comment on the internet is an attack against yourself.

No one said you couldn't complain. My question was "how many of those complaining have financially supported the game?", or put another way, who has legitimate grievances vs whining about a free game?

Summertime Saga, Cloud Meadow, My New Life many games that were promising games years ago.
And their developers ended up getting lazy and continue to drag their customers until the last bit of milk. and now we see these games sinking little by little into ridicule.

and the funniest thing is that they continue to make thousands of dollars with both hands in their pants.

didn't he say it's going to take 3 months and with the promise that updates after would come out way faster? nobody would have voted for it otherwise, from listening to DC streams he knows that people think he's a milker/scammer but he doesn't give a fuck (as long as money keeps rolling in probably)

I also couldn't ask her for the Lotion Scene.

I have to Replay the Whole Game again to discover it.

A lot of people don't get that when you see people doing something you think is not in their best interest, calling them idiots or other names is not the best method to get them around to your way of thinking, you yourself are an idiot and flying off the handle emotionally. You get people around to your way of thinking by being diplomatic.

I also think people greatly overestimate how many people support this greedy bastard out of loyalty, sure there are some, but the vast majority would fall into people who played this, went through it during it's peak and supported, and haven't gotten around to cancelling, many have probably forgotten.

There is a reason so many companies push for subscription, almost everyone has some subscription that they would cancel right now if it was simply a matter of willing it including myself, subscriptions happen out of mind.

After he got abandonned tag, many subs gone, so he released no content updated, simply for not getting that tag

I understand this game was pretty much done a long time ago, one of the best I ever played
I remember spending hours in the past playing Akabur games and then I found summertime saga and I was blowed away
I named the characters based on my girlfriend's family and it was amazing
It is still going I see
I always felt like adding more scenes with the mom and the sis would be nice
But I also liked the milfs and girlfriends options that he added

I think if the dev wants to continue his game for eternity, he is on his right
But you are in your every right to cancel a subscription if you think it is no longer worthy
You can even express your frustation

But getting mad that others are still paying for it only because you feel it is no longer worthy seems stupid
For whatever reason they are still paying, you want to say game is not going well lately, say it, you want to say you are not going to support it anymore, say it, but continuing attacking the dev for not doing what YOU want and others for not minding it as you do, seems stupid
