Then you should try to learn reading properly. The Information he shared alongside the Update was: There is more Debbie Content done, but it's not properly implemented yet codewise because of Bugs. He didn't want to share a bugged Version so these type of content comes out in January.

You should try learning to read properly. He said it would take like 4 days to fix, so he's going to take 2 months to fix it instead!

There's actually more Debbie art in the files, but it's not implemented yet. Someone took a peak earlier, but that kinda got drowned out.

used to love playing this game, but every new update made my old saves not working. Re-playing it over and over with each new update was giga cringe for me

I've been following this game since 2017. I have spent over 500 dollars across 7 years contributing to the games development. I feel plenty ripped off. You should also feel ripped off.

Why should I? I wasn't retarded enough to pay for this. The only thing I've ever invested into Summertime Saga as a game was time.

Your example wouldn't be completely braindead if you understood how Spotify works, Spotify does pay artists for the music that's played on it by the number of times it's been streamed/played lmao

A subscription model is always worse for the consumer than actually owning something. Doesn't matter how much better it's for the artists.

I don't know what retirement laws are like in other countries. In mine (depending on your profession, of course), but for normal people, it would be 35 years of contributions to the government (deducted monthly from your salary), plus 65 years of age.
In other words, you need to be 65 years old and have contributed for 35 years.
It used to be easier, but retirement laws have changed recently.
And since this game has always been a retirement plan for the developer, I believe that perhaps the retirement laws have changed in your country as well. Forcing him to reformulate the entire game, so that it matches the time remaining until he can retire.
Maybe that's why the game was reformulated, since Pre-tech was moving too fast, and it would go against the time he needed to retire.

I don't defend Dark Cookie but it's a bit weird when someone makes such statements without knowledge.

Yes he is often sick, but saying that he didn't work much offstream without proof is a bit weird.
Maybe he works on other characters off screen. Like the Nun or Helen which didn't have much scenes or Roz.

To be honest I don't think he has some evil plan like that, I think he is just really bad at managing the project. But this whole situation is still inexcusable. In 8 years of development, almost half of it has been spent on a tech update.

I just told you, we know what he works on off-stream. What he works on off-stream is what he doesn't work on on stream. That's easy to figure out.
