Can someone please explain it to me? Should I stay on the pre Tech Update or download the new version as people mentioning content being removed?

Pre-tech update is an almost finished game. It was maybe 3 big updates away from being fully finished.
Post-tech update is old content, right now the new version has caught up to 2017. It's being updated at a pace slower than the game was originally updated so you can expect the game to catch up to where it left off around 2030. The tech update is basically just a different UI and changed resolutions and it has taken more development time than the actual game.

Is this the point in the story where you're encouraged to go out and explore? If so, you can fast forward the time and head back inside. I remember this being in the last update and tbh, I didn't understand it either.

supposedly, you need to go to Aunt house but the plot twist the Aunt gone missing and nowhere to be found, tried everyday to visit her with different day, different time but no Aunt in sight. So yeah the only thing you can do is skip from evening to night.

I don't get it. This game have so much advantage, game play and fine arts, and the time. Even the story is simple yet intriguing.
One day it just stop, like suspended, no clear statement or whatsoever from the devs ???
They could have just give the game a conclusion, or The end of ep 1 .... Why remake ? why rework ?

Only in mind is the old version is too much bug because of too many quest that can do simultaneously, that some quest start to bugged-out and its too much for them to fix it every now and then. The only advantage i see in new version is, its much organize and clean about quest but still there some bug from it. For example the Aunt is nowhere to be seen but still a quest will trigger on her, so i stop playing it cause i want to play it without skipping and leaving out something.

Has anyone managed to get Ren'py to extract the texts from the game?
Because when I run the game through Ren'py I get an error saying that the “saga module” was not found.

Or if you have a tool that does the same as Ren'py “extract texts for translation and update the translation” that gets around the fact that the game has to be run first to see if there are any errors.

I accept the suggestion.

What I always find hilarious are the players who come to f95zone specifically to scam developers by playing games without compensation, subscription, or donation (whether the games are free from the developers or not) and then hypocritically call developers scammers.

Don't get me wrong, I'm here not to pay, subscribe, donate either --- but I am not going to then be hypocritical about it.

I dont buy half a fridge. When the fridge is finished and working I buy it, not before.

I don't want to complain since I play for free but Jesus man feels like much of the update should have been on much lower priority such as the house backgrounds. I get the softlock fixing but surely the story being reintroduced should take higher priority than some aesthetics?

The priority is making the tech update take as long as possible,DC has no reason to rush anything at this point.

I'm sure that it's a good sign of the game's state that whenever I see it pop-up on the latest update page that I snicker to myself which turns into a full on laugh once I see the changelog.

LOL I see this pop-up in my list. I posted over 1,5 years ago something like "WTF why are people still giving him money" and nothing has changed... man o man some people really really have nothing better to do with their cash it seems.

Horny Frog was never there but as soon as Okita requested it, Bam. It appeared. Unfortunately Jenny's diary is not appearing the same way once I am instructed to find it and you can't bypass reading the diary by knowing the password. This minimal material sux balls as you literally just spend days at a tiem skipping to do stuff because they all need done in the mornings mostly. All the afternoon activities are apparently years down the road at his update rate.

Nope! You don't even get to sample that yet as of this update. Banged 2 teachers, French and Science. Remains to be seen if they can get preggo yet even though there is a baby count in their bios in the phone. With this dev that don't mean squat. There are new buildings and locations available everywhere you look but none of them do or mean squat. And Big Boobie Bathroom girl is still just a handjob machine as well. It will be 10 years before you get to knock up any of the teenagers and another 15 for Debbie and your besties Mom. 25 for Besties Mom's Yoga Student. 30 for the hospital staff. 50 for teh Captains old lady. I will be dead and gone before this game ever reachs a content level it should have been at 5 years ago.
