If you are using the newest 'after tech work' version that (and a lot of other) content has been removed. Read back a few pages and catch up on what has been explained MANY many times.

This game is never going to develop much longer. The dev had issues with his previous code DESPITE developing it with an entire team.

The problem is, the game has become too advanced for Ren'Py to be able to handle the code easily.

The solution is obvious: use another engine.

Another point is, the rework has been decided to keep fucking over the supporters of the game. They happily pay and the game hasn't had any development in a couple of years. Dark Cookie found a way to keep milking his supporters and they are stupid enough to fall for it.

HONESTLY. The game is nine years old now. It is being done with a simple engine that was never meant to support an adventure like this. I hope the dev finally figures out to move to a better engine. Realistically, it is going to be abandoned soon.

Yup. Frankly he already has the assets so that is part of the battle. Going to another engine that works really is the only option if he wants to make it work, hopefully one that can still run on Python.

Because it wasn't complete. He wanted to continue it but the coding of the game was the epitome of garbage.

I still don't know if it's worth of waiting or not honestly, but I know that right now, the game and the updates aren't worth it. I'll still wait a couple more updates to judge if I will continue playing or not but right now, didn't play the last couple of updates because the stuff in there isn't worth much for now.

I've always looked at SS as a once every two years game. I was going to wait for the new update before I redownload. The update says 86% and should be done by April so I'm guessing August.

That 86% isn't for the next bimonthly update. That's for the tech update... And it will not be ready before 2026. Almost everything before that will just be migrated old content to the new version.

v0.21.0.0-wip.#### are WORKS IN PROGRESS (WIP) of the preview of the tech update. VERY LITTLE old content has migrated over... Including THE MINI GAMES which build stats and money.
As such, the PREVIEW MODE is the CHEAT MODE with FULL STATS and $10,000 CASH plus $9,990,000 IN THE BANK.

Until there is more of the old content migrated over, preview mode is the only option available for v21.0.0.
