When the tech update came out and it had all the content of the 0.01 version, I decided to wait until the teachers were done to try it all again. I didn't realizing I was gonna be sitting until 2028 on that plan.

No he couldn't. The Code of the old game version is so bad that he couldn't add more things in without breaking it. The old Code was like a Time Bomb. Would he have continued, the Game would have been unplayable before getting finished for good. That's why the tech Update was made in the first place.
Also, there were a lot of Girls and Women who didn't got their content done. Just wrapping up the Game without doing these Girls and Women would also result in Hate.

. Them both are known different artists. But Summertime Saga is one of the oldest biblical example of this sub-genre. So the other game (as many other titles) may be quite inspired by it.

Just to clear something up, having scrubbed through DC's streams, the upcoming Debbie update is not end of Debbie's story.

That, and pregnancy has been pushed into a fourth update. That's not new news, I think they said that was going to happen around the end of the second part making the Debbie updates (end of January).

I'm not defending it, that's just what happened. I personally find it hilarious how one of many things the tech update was originally going to do was to make updating the game easier, and therefore faster, and he instantly takes twice as long as he originally planned introducing new content.

On the plus side, he has said that we will have sex with Debbie in the upcoming Debbie update.

However, noticing where DC is on his streams, and his team's need to take ~1 month to actually put the art into a new build, I suspect we will get the 1 sex scene (the one he drew a few months ago) and that's where the update will end.

People keep saying that was the purpose. It was not.
Also, the tech update, itself, is not done. So even if that was the purpose - the update which would make that happen hasn't completed.

No one should expect the updates (content-wise) any faster than what was experienced the couple of years prior to the tech update starting (about 4 months for the content, on average. Sometimes quicker, sometimes slower). Right now, it appears, for the foreseeable future - they will simply just release whatever they have every 2 months (which is what they have been doing for the past 10 months). So, if you are simply going by time only, updates are coming faster. However, saying that would be disingenuous because the content simply isn't comparable. Hence why I say "content-wise."

Since DC himself said he never wants to "complete" it, always adding more and more, it's accurate to say the game will never be finished.
