I think it is best not to talk about these issues on f95, it has nothing to do with the main point of the post.

They added small pieces from teachers stories, main story, and such but mostly its the base beginning...
But since debbie is pretty much finished now i think/hope.
Next should be Jenny's and teachers with garden minigame on the way to be added..
Heck that last one Might even just be pretty much copy-paste from original one..
I imagine you need to wait untill next christmas untill we are in main story part at least.

I think art-wise most of the basic shit is probably finished. Its mostly just coding i think thats taking long time.
And adding events in... He might be expanding the map in the forest for an example a bit.
but i think Art is the least problem for the whole tech-update..
If he had another coder he could probably double or trippled the content added per month...

about 15%. but to be honest people did whined about debbie a lot so it got a remake/redo..
So now that debbie has (probably) been fixed... i think we'll see some more speed unless people whine about
Jenny a lot too.. or other characters things might look about 50% next christmas... and 100% in 2 christmas from here...(maybe) that is outside of sex scene's....

Yes. A LOT more of the old content could have been ported over by now, if people hadn't complained about Debbie.
Things should definitely speed up once Debbie's rework is done.

But to be honest, at the current pace of the game production team, I probably won't be able to play the finished version of this game before I die.

It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Well there is one thing we can control or two actually, one when/if we play this game again. 2 if we ever patreon subscribe again/first time. And same for any other game..

Oh and by the way, yes i believe a coder/event worker more or two would speed up the work immensily.
Remember the whole Tech-update is about coding so with that piece said...

It still amazes me that DarkCookie was earning 50-70k per month and magically took 2 entire years for a "tech" update.
I feel like he coulda put aside 50k of the for 2 months and simply paid an artist better than him and a programmer/game designer more competent to have it all reworked in 1 year.
Honestly, the ONLY good feature this may have (I haven't played it and won't until it's where it was) would be the ability to load old saves. Having to replay the whole game before was genuinely terrible - but I've seen hundreds of devs not have this issue, so I don't know how he had the issue to begin with.

I downloaded "Stable v0.20.16" in the official website and I'm almost caught up with everything, is there any way I can play the added content from v21.0.0 wip.5791 into my existing files and progress without having to play everything from the start again? Thank you.

Sorry. "Stable v0.20.16" is dead and abandoned.
You have to play v21.0.0 wip from the start.
The good news is v21.0.0 wip has better save compatibility going forward.

So after one year they are still on step 2? Or am I wrong?

It's more like that but I would also say "Town Minor Characters" WIP (Work in Progress). Since some Ivy Scenes (the Sex Shop Clerk) are in it for example.

They could add some minor Characters Scenes back inbetween Updates.
For Example when they want the Hospital be done, Roz just has 3 Scenes and the Nurse just 1. These two could be thrown in a Update even when it is a Debbie, Diane or Main Story Update.
Or the Lifeguard who just have 1 BJ Scene. She will be Part of Rondas Story but this would take quite some time until that happens, so the BJ Scene could be added back in just to have the Lifeguard back for the Cookie Jar.

Also it makes sense to Work on Diane alongside Debbie since they have one Pool Scene and the Threesome Scene. Would be weird to get Debbie done when Diane Story isn't implemented.
And since the Main Story is also WIP, the Pizza Mini Game would also be done this Year.

I love how this game gets away with giving us the same stuff they drop fed us for almost a decade now.
Whenever my son will play the game with 35 he will maybe see the end of all of this, but I guess it will really just be another remaster that starts

Honestly, the Debbie rework is fantastic. Her story was so rushed in the original game. Hoping they rework Diane and other characters with new dialogue at least.
