I agree that the project was mismanaged hard and that there is milking involved, but on the calling bullshit about the code, the dev and people who looked under the hood(modders) all said this, while the opposing party hasn't really shown evidence so I feel it's kinda in the air. But once again it definitely shouldn't have taken this long and I will only take a look when Roxy pregnancy is added(which might be never at this pace).

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to mod Summertime Saga v0.20.16 to properly input Korean (Hangeul) characters. Because I want to name the characters in Korean.

I unpacked the vanilla rpa files using UnRen and found that DejaVuSans.ttf is set as the default font through FontGroup().

I found it in credits.rpy(c)

I want to switch to a Korean font (GmarketSansTTFMedium.ttf) and fix the input issue where only one character appears and previous ones are deleted.

I tried to find the player name renpy.input() part but couldn't locate it easily.

Furthermore, after applying the Naughty Tribute MOD, I couldn't find any font or name information in credits.rpy.

Could anyone help me find where the player name input happens and what else I should tweak for Korean IME support?

Also any negative reviews of the game are taken down (mine was a few years back) lol

What the hell are those "partially updates", "technical updates" or whatever the hell they call it? I didn't play the game for 3 years probably... No one really cares about adding some half-ass new "scene". Develop the story, let me bang new bitches. Like wtf man

Apparently some modders have looked at the code and it was trash, so the rework is necessary.
It is a perfect opportunity for them to drag their feet even longer though. Best bet would be to find something else to do for a decade or two.

Are you the sponsor of the game? Then you must be able to get in touch with the game development team directly, right? Could you please ask them what on earth is wrong? I have no money to sponsor anymore. The high medical expenses are almost crushing my lumbar vertebrae, but the game has never been updated.

So stop subscribing.

"No one" is a misstatement. The people that financially support him care. We don't care and certainly don't matter. Chill.

Played this one forever ago right around the first content-vote (gym teacher v idk.) Unfortunate that this dev is skating along with a free bag; although, that won't last forever.
