Just so we're clear, in DarkCookie's own words, Debbie's update was supposed to be fully complete at the start of the year but they couldn't do it because 'they needed a few more days to do the full update but would miss their 2 months deadline' so they released it incomplete (claiming only days of work could've finished it)

Could just be that he has no real idea how to make more content/story for it. Don't think there has been a game that has gone on never ending, 2017 ? 2018 ? game has gone over half a decade and the progress has not been there for a long time.
Out of all the devs, i think this game was relatively popular compared to other games that have come and been completed.
Back when I played this game in 2019 it was good content but after that i have not seen much been added.

The excuses he generates to justify 1 or 2 days worth of work every 2 months are more fun than his game.
This chaos is not choose by the devs, this chaos is choosed by patreons. He have made a poll what comes next... Tech-Update or Rondra-Story. Tech-Update has won. It is not the fault of DarkCookie. But three years before the remake starts and then with less content. That i a poor work-moral.
We know he works at his game, you can see what he do on picardo. But in this three years we see nothing, a few scenes for a bone for the community, but that is all.
The start of the Tech-Update was good, the scenes are wonderful and it is a great new start. But why after three years with less content. It is not enough. DC is to slow to make updates. Month for Month he take the money from Patreons, Month for Month we get a little piece of old story content in new artworks.
He get Full-Time Programmers for this, but the people works for part-time. This isn't enough after this long time.
Okay... every Update has high-quality story-content, but Indie-Developers on Steam are faster than DC. And he have more money as so many Indie-Developer on Steam. With this earnings he better get faster...

According to his last stream Debbie still has a couple updates left before preg content so most likely Debbie won't be done until December.
The tech update was sold as something that would take months to a year or so. Not years to barely get off the ground.

The only way to make sure we can play the finished STS at our life time is to kidnap the devs. put them in the Locked room and only provide them food and computers.per four months as a update term which means them must update at least one character'story.if them failed to achieve that. the punishment is fuckin every develop teammate just like alon fuckin debbie.(just kidding)
