Yea yea but he keep splinting updates in to smaller ones so he can be on time (a schedule he proposed himself mind you) . He might as well not have the stupid "roadmap" at all. He sped 6 months for a chunk of the game that was meant to be done in one update cycle. He will probably not finish it this time again. He starts to sound like a broken record now :

Oh so you can comment about his development in this tread (the post that i quote) but i can't got you ! You posting the the time table of releases is okay , not "excessive discussion about development" , but me pointing out that he is actually off his own update schedule and giving a example of his own page suddenly is a problem. Fine ! Let people read and form their own opinion.

We've only gotten bits and pieces of the full story through Discord lurkers, so but it goes roughly like this (with a large grain of salt):

- DC announces that the Tech Update won the poll (whether he rigged it or not is up to how thick your tinfoil hat is) and starts drawing backgrounds. He expects it will only take a few months since backgrounds are the only things to convert so the team simultaneously hires a bunch of temporary help for posing, and he also puts together some pre-tech work to tide over his patrons.

- DC takes way longer than expected to draw the backgrounds, nearly a year. Much of the temp help, who sat on their hands with nothing to do, quietly left since the pre-tech work wasn't enough to justify their time.

- DC's team starts integrating the widescreen backgrounds and quickly discovers that a) much of the code is a spaghettified mess being held together with duct tape and spit, and b) there are a ton of drawn assets that were improperly labeled or outright missing. A basic swap to widescreen with the existing assets is no longer feasible.

- The full nightmare begins. The horrible workflow of DC's team means that everybody is seemingly dependent on everybody else to get things done. The coder has to supervise the posing team since they're hopelessly outmatched, the posing team keeps finding mistakes in the art that need correcting, and DC has to correct assets before they can be properly posed. And all of this takes hours longer than it should because everyone is spread across multiple timezones around the globe.

- At some point DC makes the fatal decision to just remaster the entire game. Now cutscenes have to be drawn to widescreen in addition to backgrounds and every character that wasn't already on the rig system or has outdated art needs to be converted. And while you're at it, might as well add pregnancy and some additional scenes, too.

There is at least a chance that things will speed up a bit once they get past Debbie since we've found a lot of non-implemented work in the current builds, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Couldn't 'this one quest' also just be the Diane threesome one?

I'd just like to add something, not to take anything away or add much. If someone currently has nothing to do but play the current update, and for now, they can revert to the previous version, pre-21.0.0, i.e., 20.16, and the full Debbie and Diane storyline, and then move on. I'm looking forward to each new thread there, so that the earlier scenes and the earlier ones can be expanded upon over time, with more content than in the previous 20.16 version of the game. It's possible, however I'll add that I have not seen DC finishing the Asian restaurant on stream this update cycle. Which I'm positive is meant to be part of Debbie's update.

I don't recall. I don't think there's an urgency to rework old characters like there was with Debbie. You have to remember DC only reworked Debbie due to being called out for returning after the tech update mystery gap with old ass art.

There's a bunch of Ronda stuff he's drawn on and off, and he talked about potentially drawing some Cassie (lifeguard) stuff tomorrow for the stream. I know the idea was to bundle her into Ronda's story, way back when.

Though now thinking about it, could also be that it's a location that'll factor into Rhonda's update since that's apparently where Somrak and the other asian chick that's seemingly related to him get reworked. Could be that restaurant is their actual day job.
