In all seriousness, please cut the crap with "but its muh hand drawn", "But muh code is a mess", "but a lot of work". This is not a single guy, he is hiring second artist and coders, while this is -relatively- simple Ren'Py visual novel. Smaller studios were relasing full scale complicated games in shorter time than the tech+debbie update alone not to mention full development time.
Heck it will be 10 friggin years next year! Someone once here even analysed here the work done for tech update for example with code and estimated that it should all take like maybe month or two at slacking pace, not 2 years, there is no excuse for such pace with SS. Only good thing that even the hardest of "concrete" fans on Patreon are getting pissed off and he starts to feel largest financial slap ever.

Thank god, that tint was fixed, it was bothering me for decades now.

it's so blatant you can't unsee it. it's how fluffed up my essays in school when i was lazy and started working on them 5 minutes before the class starts.

If this is what he considers an acceptable amount to release, there's not a doubt it my mind that he's going to hold on to several Debbie scenes and not finish her next update either.

i think next one will be last. he is testing the waters with how much he can get away with and we are now at 1 year, not for a new character but for a remake of an already existing one. i doubt he is working on the game more than 2 hours a day while raking in millions. he discovered the cheat code to easy living.

As an update this was very poor. From what we were given I don't see any reason as to why this new single quest couldn't have been included in the last update two months ago. If this is all that DC and team can provide in two months then something is incredibly wrong with how they manage their time.

The problem is not time management. The problem is that they know they can keep releasing shitty updates and people will keep supporting them.
Right now they have 0 incentive to work harder/faster. I honestly don't think we will ever get big updates like we used to.

You're right, but if you follow the streams, you'll see DC get distracted on stuff, and notice he took a 1 week vacation if you check the discord announcements.

DC had done a large chunk of what was required for the last quest, but then he got fixated on curving lines he thought were too sharp, and drawing a pointless Judith wallpaper. Very late this month he draws stuff for the scenes that were in this update, so he's scrambling late to draw stuff again. He was also drawing the odd post Debbie completion repeatable sex scenes here and there, which he knew wouldn't be in this update.

Yes, he's not working hard enough. He's also not using the time where we he actually works properly at all. He's seemingly got no focus or plan that he sticks to. He's going on vibes, as the youth would say.

Just a heads up to everyone I finished a full playthrough from the beginning and there are several scenes and a bunch of lewd dialogue and posing that have been added in this update that's not in the cookie jar. The entire Debbie storyline has been pretty much redrawn, rewritten and re-posed.

Some of you will like that. Most of you will hate it. Just letting everyone know.

The problem with that excuse is that when most porn game creators use it repeatedly every 6 months it becomes apparent to even the dumbest people that you are lying. You can only say your late on a deadline because your dog has AIDES and your grandma has cancer and is trapped in the hospital due to a flash flood and lightning striking the building, cutting off all the power so many times before someone gets wise to it. If he was Ukrainian he could claim a Russian missile blew up his computer and he needs 20K to build a new one.

Next update will be even smaller , the dev will probably go on a vacation . Yea looks like 1 character per year or 2 scenes per update , or 1 scene per month. I honesly tough he was "advertising" that with the new code and rework progress will be faster it bacame slower. Back in the day he would crank whole character route in one update cycle (yea some of thouse were more than 2 months but never a whole year of half an year for that matter). Honesly at this rate it will take him half a decated to reach the point he got with the old version .Yea scenes are better - better animation , but is it really worth the time invested ?!

I'm sorry, but one poser (out of 4) having a rough month does not lead to this underwhelming amount of content.

If Strayerror (coder) got hit with this, I could vaguely buy it.

However, we all know DC didn't get around to finishing the required art, so either way, it's on him.

Is there any way to replay the scenes with Debbie at this time (aside from the cookie jar). I mean in the old verion you can get her to watch a movie with you again , or come in to your room . Here the only repetable scene i can find is the showers scenes (and that gets locked too after you reach the end of her progress so far).

Nope, he hasn't implemented that yet.

Like you said, it's only for the shower, but also the kitchen in the evening, which is technically a "preview" scene, but it's a repeatable.
