Or does it add a new scene or content from the existing game?
If I want to play the full version of the original game, should I just play v0.20.16?
It is really unfortunate what happened here. This is my 2nd or 3rd post on this thread, but I wanna say (again lol) how sad it is to see the current state of this game. I remember when this game was mentioned somewhere nearly a decade ago and the first time I started the game was in 2021 or 2022. I played this game everyday, I really wanted to progress in this game, i really played this for the plot and updates.

Work In Progress version it is a very early build with new scenes and animations but is nowhere near what the old one had in game length and completion to it.
If it is first time playing go for Wip version, if you want a more bulky game with more in it content wise go for 0.20.16
I mean you mentioned the 2018 World Cup ..... but we had the 2022 one, and another one next year ... and it still won't be done , obviously. Real question is, will it have caught back up to the old content by the next Cup ? Likely not.
they will catch up to old content on 2030 world cup and finish it by the time that messi gets old and start to talk nonsense on tv with grey hair alongside thierry henry.
over a full year of Debbie updates... When we were promised 1 year to push out all the old content and characters broken down originally into 6 separate releases.. we are now at release 8 and Debbie was supposed to be done on release 2 and pushed back to completing on release 3.. how are we still doing Debbie content for 7 releases in a row? This is beyond embarrassing.. the coders needs to be fired. We had quality updates every 3 months before this tech update BS.

Why would they be fired when the game is making more money than ever? Also I am pretty sure that even before the tech uptade bs, he wasn't releasing updates every 3 months. I think it was more like every 4 or 5 months at that point.

It only slowed down to that point when it became way more story heavy, main story and Eve's story were massive. Every update before was 3 months like clockwork.
Incoming update with:
a) Mental health Issue
b) Visa&MC forced them to delete all the sex scenes
c) Outsourcing workers MIA
d) A Hard Disk failure and all the work gone
e) Tariffs went up and couldn't buy the 5090 after selling their 2090
f) A new update on Renpy code and now they have to use Unity o RPGXV
g) all of the above

This is a patch that reverts back the relationship of the characters to how it was before the change in Patreon policy. For feedback and suggestions, please seethis threadI've created.
Much more comprehensive list of changes to dialogue. I checked almost every line of dialogue and made sure it flowed correctly. This is not just a simple name change for the characters, but whole blocks of lines are back to their 14.5 version of the game (the last version that has incest). New dialogue written for this tech update also were taken into consideration since DarkCookie is adding new story beats. I'll try to make the dialogue conform to their familial relationship as much as possible. I also modified the art asset to fit the new widescreen resolution of the game, and will continue doing so as needed.
What about other incest patches out there?
outdated and shouldn't be used. Lots of text bugs and not made for the latest pre-tech version.
is not compatible with my patch. It hasn't been updated in a while and all the changes that patch offers is also included in my patch.
Relation Tweaker Mod is not compatible with my patch. However, I recommend using this one instead if you want to customize the relationship between characters. This patch allows step relations or mixed step/incest relations. It works with the new tech updateonly.
Relation Tweaker Lewd+ is standalone and should work with any incest patch/mod. It works with the new tech updateonly.
Naughty Tribute Mod is not an incest patch, but a mod for the pre-tech version (0.20.16). There are some compatibility issues I haven't looked into yet. Someone in this thread uploaded a fix here, and while I haven’t personally tested it, you’re welcome to give it a try.
Installation:
Pick only one version of the mod. Use the appropriate patch for the version of the game you're using.

What I particularly enjoy about the recent update is how they changed the "Release Date" to 08/02/2025 instead of its real release date when in actuality the game was released about 10 years ago. I remember when this game was released, one of my kids was in middle school, and that same kid has graduated high school, college, and now has a kid of his own on the way. All before the finish of this game which has devolved into hordes of sad "tech updates"
Is the tech update just redoing the game from scratch? or continuation?....Looked at the cookie jar and tech update version has less people and the changelog doesn't say.
It was just meant to change the code and add old content back, maybe add new scenes here and there.

That is correct though, ultimately somebody losing 30 dollars a year on a false promise is basically 0 stakes. Yeah it's easy to wallop on but its also already beaten into the ground. Gamers blow more on games they put 0 hours into all the time lol. In the end, the hgame holding pattern you see in a few patreons, even combined, can't even compare to a single pinky of a big dog milking operation like say star citizen.
