i've played this game 4 years ago and there was a huge chunk of story with aunt diane which is now gone. what is the reason for that? is the developer working on a remake?

You don't mention which version, but each has a way to do everything you want, or it's already rolled out with it.

The dev announced a rework a long time ago, which means no new content accept maybe some small stuff for a long time and most of the old stuff is just upscaled (Not that I see much of a difference to be honest) and pushed out probably to milk a bit more since this game runs out of plot at this point and needs to go on as long as possible.

I just checked graphtreon to find out STS got a new all-time-high in patrons this month. So here's my prediction for the next update: DC will propably only integrate the pregnancy assets for Debby and the 2 work in progress scenes that are currently available as an in-game-preview. The remaining scenes will follow in November. Or even better: He will ONLY integrate the pregnancy assets and no new scenes at all.
