I wonder: why didn't they rename the tech update to "Summertime Saga: Remake"? Wouldn't that make the sheer scope of the update clearer to players?

It's not finished yet because we're currently on the 3rd remake of the game before it's even finished once.
My guy, how much the bureau put in your head?
Back to the topic, WHY? The game looked good back then, is it in 3D now? Any major differences from back then?
The game is getting overhauled outdated scenes are getting revamped and old storylines are getting a fresher take while also adding a whole bunch of new locations don't expect an ending anytime soon

These remakes are getting out of hand:
gotta keep the income up, and just drag out and do remakes instead of progress
Pre-tech update finished the main story, and had about 30 girls to fuck and 10 to impregnate.
Post tech update is a better (?) version of the intro and nothing else so far with even the mother and sister not complete yet.
Game was being made by team. Person coding was trash. Game was going to explode. Instead of trying to unwind the mess of code that would eventually make development impossible, they blew it up. Now progress is steady but slow and it still hasn't caught up to where it was. And that's how you get a ten year development cycle.
It's a better game now, but it's more than evident it's being milked like no porn game has done before. To astronomically legendary levels, where the tidal waves set in, and every developer who has no integrity admire.
