If you are using v0.20.16, but your error is for v0.20.11 - then you're doing something wrong.
You're not playing v0.20.16:
If it is an error for v0.20.16, then it would say v0.20.16.
Delete all old instances of the game. Then extract v0.20.16. Then play that.

So what exactly can be played here? I've completed all the story for all the teachers except the gym teacher and the music teacher, the last two im assuming have no more content? Roxy, and Diane used to have a pretty big story path, now they don't. Jenny's is the same for the most part, Haven't completed Debbie's path yet. Are we really remaking the game again just so we can continue to squeeze more money out of people? It's been f****** years, and darkcookie still hasn't made any progress in the story.

DK is still in the process of integrating the old, familiar content into the "new game," but at the current pace, it will take decades. Whether anyone will actually be interested in the game by then is questionable. I only check in here sporadically, too. And I was once a fan.

it should be mentioned in the OP that the tech update may be a better version from a technical standpoint but is far inferior in content and differs in many key aspects from the original game. the tech update is an (to this date) unfinished remake with many relationships missing

Can you estimate how much content is in the tech update, e.g. 50% of the original game?
Thinking about whether to do a replay from the beginning.

Way less than 50%, that's for sure.
I didn't play the last updates, so I can't say for sure, but maybe in the range of 30% right now? At the beginning of the year, we were at like 20%.

I would say it's way less than 30%. I would say he's about 5% through the original game. Especially considering he's been adding new stuff rather than just focusing on the remaster.
While I completly agree that things are taking way too long I dont think its fair to say its 5% since people seem have forgotten that while orginally, a LOT of characters had some scenes, with a LOT of characters it was 1--3 per character, out of 44 character from which there are scenes(though I am not sure Its fair to count all of them because among them is Rump) something like 33 had 1-3 scenes.
Out of 44 only 3 characters had 10+ scenes(Jenny, Debie and Roxxy), 2 had 8(Diane and Eve), 2 had 6(Odette and ivy), 2 has 5 scenes(Tammy and Ms. Okita) and 3 had 4 scenes(Maria, Consuela and Josephine)
How things changed for Jenny in tech update, her scenes went from 20 to 27.
For Debie it went from 13 to 23 + 2 unfinished scenes, while also improving art quality and while making animations way smoother.
It doesnt look like dev plans to rework all routes at least for now, teacher scenes were pretty much only remastered instead of reworked, so It should be going faster after Debie route is complete.
