Old game as most content but won't be updated.

And this is probably also why you are "only" a game user and not a game dev. Doing a tech update in parallel with new content, literately means developing 2 games in parallel, which means even longer between updates or less content in each update.

DC is taking his sweet time, not keeping his own deadlines as usual. Promises to do one thing , does the other ... business as usual. He will probably release it next week.

People probably didn't expect that the tech update would take 5+ years to be finish. Most people thought it was to fix some bugs, make the game run more smoothly and flesh out some things here and there. Not rebuild the game from the ground up. I mean I didn't have a problem with how the game looked. DC probably did. Which is why he wanted to do a tech update. Though if I was in DC shoes, I'd probably do the tech update on the side and continue the story. But that's just because of hindsight. In RL, I don't know what I would have done differently. Probably not do the tech update until the game was finished.

It was said multiple times that the Code of the old Version is Trash. When the Kompas Productions Team just have continued the old Build, they would have risked the Game to break entirely. So yes, the Tech Update was needed, but how it's done is bad. The old Content should have been better implemented.
It was clear since the beginning that the Tech Update won't be just Bugs fixing and fleshing out things, it was clear that the Coding will be newly made from the ground up. When "most People" really thought it would be just some fixing, then they all gaslighted themself.

Also it was said multiple times that Dark Cookie wants to continue the Game and has no plans to end his Game. He will keep adding Girls and Womens for our MC, even when he pushs it to 200+ Fuckable Female Characters for our MC. That wouldn't have been possible with the old Build.
