Once they get the last animation the update should be released soon after. They have been bug testing/fixing for a while now.

I'm curious ! Do you mind telling us ?
The basic point being told is that the salt mines are far larger on the Patreon page with people having far larger cases of Blue Ball Syndrome than we can muster here.
I have no idea how DC handles it, but he lets em vent about what's known as the cycle of life around here.
Every one busts a nut right when an update comes up, they stroke long and hard about what's dropped, they get the itch to rub one more out and get kinda raw, then the blue balls kicks in, DC tells them he's close, they rub faster, you see their head get as big as mine as their stuff goes bluer, then it releases and we start all over again.

I wouldn't even be that surprised anymore. In the past he often mentioned that he had 100s of mails left to go through and answer but I haven't heard him saying that for quite some time (may of course have easily missed it) but I guess the whole communication thing just started taking way too much time.

Was a patron for this game since it was a "baby". Stopped a while back because development seemed super chaotic and slow paced.
Ideally updates would be something like
1) Main story
2) Complete a characters whole route each update.
3) Once that's all done, touch up the game and add extra side content.
4) Enjoy?
As is, the current state of development worries me. We're only getting parts of characters routes each update and some have been redone multiple times. Yeah, they're improved the 2nd or 3rd time around, but that's used/wasted time. I don't think being a "perfectionist" is always a good thing.
Hopefully development becomes more organized in the future because at the rate it's going we'll be waiting at least 5 more years for a complete game.

Kevin may not even have an update. Cos he's so unpopular in polls, DC removed him from the latest 2 (or more) polls and even said on stream he may just forgo Kevin's update since the interest in it is so low.

I think the idea behind not doing it this way is, that the whole thing may run out of steam pretty quickly once all the main content (main story + prom) is done and once the game feels somewhat finished. So it does make quite a bit of sense to squeeze in some side content here and there. At least in my opinion the risk that everybody (including DC) gets fed up and moves on increases quite a bit, and thus scenes like for Crystal, Micoe, Roz, Ivy, the monstergirls, etc. simply would never happen. So either one "bundles" some side content with each update or it'll likely never happen at all.
